Anna Maria...… lived here for 27 years...… beautiful spot nice southern hospitality.... After the move from Hawaii and a couple years later we picked the Gulf...It was the correct decision....If you are hunting for crystal clear touriquise water.... lack of taxes..... Manatee County has an objective...save the land...If you like photograph and birds of prey......or any bird you could imagine that lives in a salt marsh/mangrove...this is the place. I can see Hemmingway standing on the beach with a beautiful sunset .To me its my special place. Does anyone remember the Perfect Storm. Part of the crew lived in Cortez.
I want to wish everyone has good health and makes it through.

This may interest you. Apple comes in number one. Nice computer but too pricey for me. Lenovo and MSI dead last. I use a Y900 Lenovo desktop really decked out for gaming. Its beautifully made and darn fast. Does 4k video with ease... not a sputter. So far the tech support was on the money in its troubleshooting but for them to just replace the mechanical keyboard (razer black widow) took 6 weeks. They do not make that model anymore but the parts are high end ( Nvidia 1080 graphic card} 3 slots for hard drives.

Just to help narrow it down.... look for a gaming laptop …. usually it is configured with or you can configure a very fast computer. Read the reviews and take care and sort them out. When I bought my desktop it is a gaming desktop big power supply and plenty enough juice to edit 4k video. I did get a 26 in gamer monitor and the whole package ends up with more power that I need. I know there is a lot of companies that will love to sell you this type of computer... just don`t get confused. If I can help I will be happy to. Just want to add....get a good return policy at least 30 days... and as long of a extended warranty as you can.

Intel® Core™ i7-8705G processor Quad-core 3.10 GHz
AMD Radeon RX Vega M GL with Dedicated Memory
15.6" Full HD (1920 x 1080) 16:9 IPS
16 GB, DDR4 SDRAM
512 GB SSD...….$1499
Aspire 7...….. Bought a Aspire 5 for a Christmas gift impressed with what could be done with a `base` laptop. Talking to Acer Tech support. they seem sharper than most. With a laptop you can find them with a 1tb hard drive but realize it will slow your whole editing and cataloging down as they usually spin at 5400rpm. A large ssd 128 megs or more along with an external drive will give you the backup and space. I have backed up my whole collection twice. The one company I have been disappointed with was Lenovo. New laptop bad hard drive called tech support which was clueless

thought that the photo was absolutely impressive. Well you gentlemen say that I disobeyed the rules now that is a real shame.... you people have nothing but being nitpickers and are blind enough not to notice that the photographer got credit for a absolutely awesome shot. I hope I run into you on the trail we could have a serious talk.

Getting to be a busy busy season...On on its way through the Bahamas . Same thing with Irma. This is not a cat 5 but it has spaghetti tracks all over but seemingly up the east coast. We here on the the west coast have the memories of Irma... 28 years have got the science of shutters up and shutters down. This so far looks like maybe a tropical storm but it as it always is subject to change...… quickly.

Have owned and appreciated a SX50.....FZ1000...HX300....HX400.....FZ200 …...FZ300 … through a long period taking the plus and minas . I have kept the FZ300. Sharp and a heck of a good piece of glass. I need the reach and find the camera well built. The 4k shots come out great and for my inside camera this definitely works. I did retire and buy myself a RX10M4. That is my outside camera. You will do well with the 300 it is a fine piece of equiptment which with the weather sealing . I thought that a A7111 would be nice but to get to the distance I need I might have to sell my house..

Both but since Dell took over Alienware I feel after using both definitely would pick Lenovo..... been a mainstay for years. I have a Y900 Lenovo desktop.. Came with absolutely top notch parts....Solid extremely fast. Would buy again in a heartbeat. It feels built to last. The Nvidia graphics cards they use are pretty much at the top pier. They should handle about anything you can throw at them....The Y30 has a great graphic card choice and it would be something I would be proud to own.....damn its nice.

Hi....not so sure where you live . You will actually find Florida an adventure for you taking photos. If you get a chance try a drive over to the west coast. We have some wonderful preserves trails and as a bonus wildlife. I find the variety of birds great. Try the Bradenton area with Robinsons Preserve which just expanded another 300 or so acres. There is also Emerson Point in Palmetto.A beautiful place to walk. Anyway welcome.

I want to thank everyone....I will sell one of my 2 RX10M4`s when the time comes. They seem to have lost little of their value having a mint one in the closet. No decisions of what of the a series to replace it with.... one thing I have researched is the lenses...I do not see anything that would have the reach I need for birding and water sports. I have yet to download the menu settings but question....does it have a clearimage setting ? Sets me up with 1200mm with very little or no noise. Anyway I want to thank you all. Your experience is invalueable….I will make a move in July...Thank s again......H.....Just to add one big plus is the burst speed.....finding it invaluable with birds and windsurfers/kite sailors....If I am not wrong the rx10m4 has the A9 system

My main camera and best I have had the pleasure of using is a RX10M4. I have had my eye on either an A9 or A7111. The Rx10M4 from what I understand is a m111 WITH AN a9 sensor. Auto focus is damn quick on both. So any advantage to stepping up or laterally with the change? I know the price difference is heafty but is it worth it? For what it matters I do have 2 of the RX10`s. So thoughts.....is the A9 or A7 that much better with IQ and such. Not ready to jump and I realize the sony lenses are pricey. This will be a slow move. Any thoughts. This would be my last camera. I shoot mainly wildlife. Just if you get a moment throw me a thought. Thank you
