I’ve been an ON1 user for several years. I previously used Lightroom, which is a superb editing program. Both programs are excellent. ON1 is continuously offering spectacular new features and , in my somewhat educated opinion, provides the features of Lightroom and Photoshop in one program.
I purchased a new MacBook Pro today. The sales person told me the M3 pro is sufficient for photo editing. The M3 Max is extreme overkill unless I wanted to edit 3-D movies.
I am beginning my search for a new MacBook Pro because my current MBP with an M1 chip and only 8 GB OF RAM is much too slow using ON1 photo Raw 2024. I’m advised by B&H that 16 GB may be fine but that 32 GB would be preferable for larger tasks like photo editing.
Get ready for a wonderful experience. I took a similar river cruise 4-5 years ago. It is my recollection that the castles were high on some hills or mountains. I suggest you take your longest lens.
