Not me. I have two canons and two Olympus. When I first got a DSLR, for years, I only had one. I can’t imagine having one camera now.
It doesn’t bother me to switch between Oly and Canon. I do bird photography and so I tend to be actively zooming and I have probably shot enough with both that once I am using it, I don’t think about it.
I have the new OM-1 and love it.
High ISOs the canon R5 is better but Topaz denoise does amazing things that I don’t mind using either. Oly is lighter too!
So try/rent before you buy. You may not need it.
Oh. Very nice. Love his expression. Looks like he is screaming as he comes towards you.
Oh that was funny!! Hopefully the wife is used to his humor! If not…
I went to Leguna Seca earlier this month. Bring long and short telephotos along with the your tripod. The raptors blind and ground level may need short telephoto (skip the tripod in the lower blind.) We did different blinds each day. Will be warm in the blinds. Bring a neck gaiter.
You will take many many photos! Have a great time.
Very nice. I didn’t know they had cherry blossoms in Portland. I always think of DC.
Great shots. I am going there at the end of this month and now I am really excited!
Nice! I only see them during the winter and not every winter. Nice set. I like #2 the best.
Better watch it. Once you get hooked on BIF, you will want a better camera… then a better lens or vis versa! :)
This is why I bought my first DSLR — to capture backyard birds better than my point and shoot.

Great shots. Was this equivalent to 600 mm or 1200 mm with the 2XTC?
Yes exactly, 1200mm! Olympus is manageable with Topaz Denoise. I should try a direct comparison with my Canon R5 once I get a 100-500mm lens and teleconverter. Won’t be the exactly the same but it would be interesting.
Never heard of Steve Perry but I will check him out. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks everyone. Every year is different and I count myself lucky when I see them!
