These were taken on the outskirts of Tildon Park. The park runs for miles and is has dense woods and recreational areas including an early 1900's Merry Go Round and a Steam Train.
Photos were taken from a hilltop, in the evening, overlooking San Francisco Bay.
These were taken using my Casio point and shoot..
As always feel free to comment.
Trees are hiding a water tank.
I love zoom lenses.
El Sobrante is in a valley between Richmond and Orinda. These were taken from a hilltop above Richmond. I was amazed when I discovered this park. It's part of the 'Tildon Regional Parks'. I'll post more photos taken from this hilltop...Bill
Here is the storm coming in over San Francisco bay. It brought lots of damage and flooding...
I see an unhappy camper and a very happy birdy. I vote for happy birdy...
Here are two photos of my "Tessa". She is an all American dog, that is she is 'something, something with a dash of something else'..She is playing on top of her Dad's Down Comforter...
I have a buddy who had a 56' Chevy convertable, back when we were young, blue and white. He let me borrow it while he worked on my 52' Olds 98 coupe. Eat your hearts out...
Thank you both for your comments. Frito is called 'The Bandito' because he will steal your heart...
Sissy that I am we decided to stay home and be creative..Please forgive my eyes.
Bill and Frito
These were taken at the gondola ride to the top of the hill at Sterling Winery. The only Gondola ride in the wine country, in California...
Getting ready to ride.
Action shot through dirty Gondola glass.
Looks like my back yard.
I was walking my dog alongside of the tracks when AmTrak came by and I was concerned about getting my dog out of the way. No time to think about the picture but did try for the Locos and missed. Bad picture.
The other two were practice shots, trying to learn how to frame..Thank you for your comments...
Thank you for your comment. Yes it does look like a blank space. There is so much haze around the water, I should have payed more attention..
Sorry about the slow focus on my old Sony camera. Just missed the Locos. Please comment on any of my shots...
Opps, please forgive the fumbling fingers. Here is the real view of the Crockett bridge..One, I think, is pastoril and the other more dramatic..
