Beautiful! Thanks! After being away from Wake County 30+ years, I still miss it and enjoy photos from the area. Keep them coming.

Beautiful! You brought back memories of my visit to Holland, MI. Glad to see the tradition continues.

Hi, everyone I just wanted to share. I live in TX right outside of Dallas. Last week do to cold weather and electricity going out for 37 hours straight a water pipe busted in my ceiling. I didn't find out until 2 am that morning when the Fire Department called me.
When I got there we opened the door and water started gushing out the door. The busted pipe was spraying water everywhere. I lost everything, I had insurance but when covid 19 hit I was told to close my business. After four months I was allowed to reopen.
I wasn't getting any customers due to the six feet distance apart from one another and having to wear a mask. All my clients canceled their appointments. I completely understand because who wants to have a picture taken wearing a mask. So with no income coming in I had to do something and fast if not I was going to lose everything including my home so I had to make some hard decisions and one was canceling the insurance on the studio, now with everything ruined, I don't know what to do.

Thank you for listening to me : )

You are absolutely correct! So in my thoughts, that is a great barometer of how much other people mean to the "maskless."

Anyone can justify in their own mind whether the mask works or not. I do believe it helps some because I've sneezed in my mask and it didn't all go out. However, my main point is, I and many people like me, have a suppressed immune system and if you sneeze on me it could eventually result in my demise and I choose to live as long as I can. So I say thank you to those who care enough about their fellow human beings to chose not to spread their germs.

So, if I happen to visit New York City and as a tourist am walking around being amazed at the surrounding, if a woman happens to be in my photo you want me to be arrested? Common sense comes in small portions these days unfortunately.

Spent week at HHI last week and the restaurants were open and business was booming. Lots of people that didn't wear masks. Beach where you're going was beautiful and looked pretty much like summertime. Enjoy!

Thanks for your help. Sorry Linda beat you to the jump. It didn't occur to me that was a possibility. I look for your photographs and/or critique every day. At 75 there's a lot things I no longer remember.

Sony A65. Never had a problem. Took it out for just some snapshots, came home looked at photos and they all are focused in the middle and blurry on the top and bottom. Tried several lenses and they all do the same.

You brought back lots of memories. Back in the 70s I was a chaplain at Wake Med and visited Apex often to meet with local pastors. My father-in-law was pastor at Holly Springs Baptist Church for several years. Give you a laugh, last year we went to visit a friend who's wife died in Fuquay Varina and went through Apex on the way almost got lost because it has grown so much. Couldn't believe Holly Springs had a bypass. When we lived there there was only a two lane road that went right through "downtown" Holly Springs.

Just recently after taking some shots of a local lake when I got home I looked at what I had and each photo was divided into three sections horizontally. The top and bottom of each photo are darkened and the middle section is as perfect as it ever has been. I've tried several different lenses and the problem carries over so it appears to me it is a camera problem. Any suggestions as to how to fix the problem or if not, where to send my camera for repair. Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos of a beautiful place. I've lived within an hour of there most of my life and I still love going. We live in Greer, SC and often visit friends in Hendersonville and take the route through there on our way home just to ride through and enjoy the scenery. A goal of mine this year is to go up to the top of the chimney. The boat tour they offer is really nice, too. Disappointed you didn't share a photo of the mobile home.

two then three Goldfinch. I have tried for weeks to get a shot of a Goldfinch! All the birds were taken through the kitchen window and cropped. No chance of getting these pretty birds outside if I even blinked they were off.
So I stood in the kitchen as still as a statue at the ready with camera poised for what seemed like forever. You can see in the first shot it has been ringed. No chance of seeing the number.

The hedgehog is one of five we feed on a night, he was rooting before going to the food station.

Canon 650D, 18-55 & Tamron 18-400 lens.
