I bought a used 7D from KEH Camera last November. It was less than $900, and the camera had only 3200 clicks on the shutter. Cosmetically, it looked like a brand new camera, and I have been very pleased with it.

Mine is bigger!
I love all cameras I do shoot Nikon because our family had lens from the film days and when I was starting out I didn't have much cash to spend. I could have easily been a Canon or Sony guy.

Did the purchase price include an insurance policy to pay for your hernia operation?

This was shot at Hidden Lakes Trout Farm in Bolingbrook, IL USA. This is my first attempt at HDR. Shot with Canon EOS 7D & Sigma 17 - 50 F2.8. HDR created with Canon DPP software.

Ahhhh, thanks for that Ron. Is it for Nikon only or Canon as well? I like free ..

I see that it differs in that you need to upload a jpg file into the program whereas ShutterCount reads it straight from the camera with no file so it is not reading the EXIF data …. BUT it's not free :) I did find another one for Canon which is free at
shutteractuations.com It is a downloadable program for Windows and again no file needs to be loaded, it gets the data from the camera. I have not tried this one so I cannot endorse it but it reportedly reads from the following.

Support EOS: 1000D,1100D,450D,500D,550D,600D,650D,40D,50D,60D,7D,6D,5DMKII,5DMKIII,1DMKIV,1DX

The program is however endorsed by this guy

Ahhhh, thanks for that Ron. Is it for Nikon only o... (show quote)

I just downloaded and tried this one. It works fine with my EOS 7D. :)

I own the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 OS lens, and use it to shoot events like parties and family gatherings, with good results. I use flash lighting gear with it. Typically, if inside, I bounce the flash lighting.

I did the two flower arrangements using bounced flash lighting.

Very nice! Thanks for posting.

Waiting for the little brown truck again for my L lens. No I'm broke after my 6D, and this. It's only money, right?

I'm waiting for the white truck (FedEx). I have an EOS 7D and a Sigma 17-50 F2.8 DC EX HSM OS on the way. It's due to arrive tomorrow. Like yourself, I am now broke!

I'll be anxious to hear your thoughts on the 70-200. I am considering that for my next lens purchase.

I almost always like to use the histogram in live view to get one exposure as nearly perfect as possible, then take additional exposures over and under as needed for bracketing and/or HDR. If I end up not using HDR, at least I have one good exposure to work with.

Ditto. I have recently started doing the same, and I am quite pleased with my results.
