Nice. Your pics always make me miss Hi. Lived there for 25 years.
Johnathan Livingston Seagull, of course!
Nice. I miss my b&g.
His name was Figuaro.
The best... and hardest way... Pull up all the bricks. A layer of pea gravel or sand, then landscape fabric. Re-lay bricks, fill in spaces with dry Quickrete, then water.
Not what you were looking for, but it'll work.
[quote=David in Dallas]Yes, I do notice those obstruction, and I do try to find a way to exclude them.
I don't know that I've "mastered" anything. I just leave the camera on "Auto" and frame my photos. I adjust perspective and isolation in Lightroom. I do sometimes add a little "Clarity" but usually don't need it. All my photos are hand-held, I don't even take a tripod (most churches don't allow them, anyway).
Interesting story about the big round window in my church. It is behind the big pipe organ and was in place for some time before the organ was installed, so folks were accustomed to seeing all of it. When the organ was installed, it covered up some of the lower part of the window for those near the front of the church, and the donors of the window objected to it (they'd paid $35,000 for it and wanted it to be seen). The organ builder (from Bonn, Germany) came back and altered the installation as much as possible (even cutting a pipe on a diagonal) to reveal more of the window. This is the window in full view:

Nice window.Really nice pics. I learned how to create stained glass windows but never did learn how to do the painting on the glass for the faces.
I also played the organ for church services, would love to play the one in the last pic.
Thanks again for all the replies.
Thanks for all the replies. I'l l have to check some of them out.
Happy Easter!
I have an old ladies dress watch , not even sure where I got it.
One of the fancy 1950' s style with white gold and tons of very tiny diamonds on the watch and bracelet ( strap ).
Watch doesn't run.
A jeweler I trust told me it needed to be overhauled by a good watchmaker, and he didn't know any. His watchmaker retired, and he's been trying to find one.
Does anyone here have any suggestions? Jewelers I can find, but a watchmaker seems to be a rarity.
Thanks
Mary A
Not matter how young or old you are, any cat is faster!
Was moving with my 2 cats to a new house, was bringing Ralphie into the camping kabin. A golf cart rattled by filled with empty garbage cans. Unexpected loud noises scare cats. Even ones that were supposedly securely held in one's arms. 40 feet up a tree before my arm even started bleeding! Then, he decided that wasn't good enut and climbed another 30 or so feet. He did come down when he got hungry.
Next time, he stayed overnite in the car.
The heck with the quality
.. those shots are very interesting.
I've used a bit of gold leaf in jewelry work.
Thanks!
I drive a semi out of Jacksonville Fl and Savannah, Ga to surrounding states. My bosses has a car d he prepays for fuel, its generally cheaper than posted.
I am in the middle of a trip... in my car, thankfully... from Jacksonville to San Luis Obispo, Ca and back. Also went last Nov, back in Jan. Gas prices all over the places, Almost $6 for reg in Ca. $3.78 in Tx today.
Whew....
looks like half of an old bungee cord...
Been there. Have the tshirt. I like the painted cows.
It's just cat. Casey loved to sit in the sink. I'd let the water drip a teeny bit. He had long fur, and summer in Hawaii was hot.
learned a new word! Wish it worked for arthritic fingers and toes!
