I still have the Alice's Restuarant cookbook. An insert has a punch out recording, never played it, but I think it's Arlo talking about the song.

My lens makes no noise after it's mounted and settled down. Send it back!

You may have changed something in the menu system. Click on Edit then Menus. Once Your in there you can choose what shows up. That said Bob is right when he wrote Automate is the menu item you should be using. It is the option to make panos and focus stack.

The foot is detachable, I take it off and keep it in my bag until I need it.

I just spent some time looking at the menus, and I don't see crop factor as a choice. The button was the cause of the camera going into crop mode. Once I discovered that it changed the crop I would push it several times and it would cycle through the options. My D850 was a very early body, might have been a bug that was easy to fix so no one reported it, just guessing.

The button I was referring to is just down and to the left of the af-on button. It's the one with a bumpy surface. The D850 manual calls is the sub selector.

I'm not sure if the D500 has the same buttons as a D850, but the d850 has a button near the af-on button. The default action was to change the crop factor. After hitting it by accident a few times I changed the function in the menu system.

I'm on my 3rd refill in my pro-100, no problems. Colors are so close, I didn't have to change my profile, but I might not be as critical as some.

Nikon F mount lenses will mount on a Pronea, but the I mount Pronea kit lenses will not mount on an F mount body. I can't remember why, but I think one of the bayonet tabs is wider on the I mount lens. For a point and shoot it was good and my wife could use my F lenses on hers, but it isn't a serious camera. Also if you find an adapter that converts Nikon to something else, it will not accept I mount lenses.

I'm sending this reply from Athens. Bring it all, you know where you're going for the day, carry what you think best and leave the rest in the room safe. 24-70 is the lens I use most as my walk around lens and I fill in depending on where I'm going. You will just LOVE Greece! Have a great time.

Sometimes when a drive has been sitting for a very long time, the heads stick to the drive surface. The motor might not be able to break them free. Try this trick- hold the drive by one corner and flick it like you're going to throw a Frisbee, DON'T let go. I have done this with drives that exhibit similar symptoms, and they come back to life. Good Luck.

In camera HDR is ok, but it can't handle the really tough images like a stained glass window in a dark church or bright reflections that blow out the sensor. I think Photomatix has a free 30 day trial that you can play with. If I remember right it watermarks the finished image which it removes if you buy. Also the software can remove "ghosts" which are things in the image that move while you are shooting.

My new Xfinity box arrived about a month ago. No problem setting it up. After using the login info on the side, just go to the Xfinity website and change the password. One thing not to do is backspace over the password on the site, highlight it and delete.
