Grandpa's looking good - must be the dry heat.
Remember that the Scots have a saying "There's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes"
Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Orkneys are places that I have visited and recommend. But check the weather forecast!
I have a Sony DSC RX100 VII which I now take on trips, and it does a great job. It is a little noisier than my Sony A6600 at high ISO's, but Lightroom latest De-noise takes care of that. And it's much smaller and lighter, has a great pop-up viewfinder and built in flash.
Highly recommended!
This is a very competitive market place. If you don't like what your possible vendor wants to charge you, chances are there's another product out there that will serve you just as well!
Thanks, Mike - Happy New Year to you too!
Some shots from our Christmas in San Diego. The Sony RX100-VII and LRC De-noise is a great travel combination!
Great set - it brought back happy memories of Quebec!
It's part of Windows 11 now, and will be added to Office 365 soon.
Cataract surgery solved this problem for me.
Sony had 4 in the top 10 cameras, so it seems like they do know what they're doing!
Great capture of the cathedral, Sylvia.
As I remember, the copy of the Magna Carta was not particularly well protected and you could get pretty close to it.
Is that still the case?
It looks like the A6700 is a real winner - what we need now from Sony is a greater selection of APS-C format lenses - they are smaller and lighter than the full frame versions.
How about it, Sony?
It looks like the main difference between it and the A6600 - which I have - is improved autofocus for still shots - like eye focus for birds. Many of the features of the A7 V have been incorporated.
Also improved stability, and some better features for video which I neither use nor understand.
I'm tempted!
