I really enjoy shooting on these targets, great work Brian.
That's going to be a great image of the 7 sisters Brian. It's another year without snow for us but, the relentless wind and rain 5in of rain every week has everything green and the tree pollen is off the chart. I've got another 5 weeks of post operation healing before I'll even attempt to uncover the Black Widow.
Serena is one of my favs, Timmers the quality and quantity is awesome . the use of several different models is in a sequence like the trio is excellent and in very good taste. Keep on shooting .
Sweet Marc, I had surgery on my leg and I haven't been out for over 90days. Keep it up !
You are off to a good start for testing. Keep up the good work.
Awesome narrowband, really brings out the fluff and detail. I haven't done any processing at all , pain is off the chart. Keep up the good work.
I'm envious , I did attempt 4 nights on Jupiter and failed to even get on my target , I fell into the mount , planetary isn't in my wheelhouse anymore.
That's cool , great start ,love the detail you pulled on the Cal neb .
Good job, the more you shoot on this target the more nebulosity comes out . you've got a good start on the HH nebula. I'm not in very good health, I hope to be capturing some photons on the horsehead this year.
I've been collecting on ic396 , the wind has been pretty bad for the last 3 nights out . I started taking 6 min. Narrowband then dropped down to 3 min. the last 2 nights out. Now it's below freezing and my cave stereo blew a fuse and wires were sizzling in the 3 outlets . $250 later replaced the outlets and put in a oem outlet w/reset. Now I just dropped off my tx/822 ONKYO synthesized Stereo receiver {Brain} to find out why my Headphones work out of the cd deck and not the receiver. Hopefully, I can sleep at night when I get it back , this whole ordeal has me flustered Sonny.
Those are some really awesome images, color and contrast is paramount.
Pixinsight isn't frustrating. Always good to have another tool in the arsenal . I collected some good data by saying a prayer that it wouldn't be a total fubar last night from the other side of the meridian and hopefully I can get the rest that I wanted tonight and tomorrow night.
I was lucky imaging tonight, winds 6-9 mph shooting at 180s and my astro cart helped a lot. I'll dump a 1/5 of them , I wasn't even planning to shoot tonight {bonus} got to get it while you can Sonny.
I don't know where you heard that "you level the mount and balance the ota ". A level mount is a happy mount , Less strain on the drive train. Smooth motion in RA & DEC. I've been 4 nights getting things back in harmony after shooting on the Omega from the drive. Everytime, I move "THE RIG" it has to be fine tuned for that awesome guiding.
Awesome Pacman nebula, the colors you used bring out the detail really well.
