You've all probably seen a million photos of this event by now. Here's number 1,000,001.

PS: Once you have set your lens to infinity focus - make sure auto-focus is completely off and lock in the focus with gaffer's tape! Nothing is worse than at the end of a 'great' astro-photo session and finding that the focus was 'knocked-off' at some point in the session!

Excellent tip!

Sometimes I can achieve autofocus on the moon by using single point and focusing on the edge. As others have stated, manual focus is the way to go. Focusing to infinity will result in a sharp moon and sun shot however you'll need to figure out exactly where infinity is on your lens. The indicator on the lens isn't always that accurate.
As for sun shots it's dangerous for your camera and eyes, even if the sun is on the horizon. Thousand oaks optical has affordable screw on filters that are eye safe.

At about 400 km (where the ISS orbits) gravity is about 90% (10% lower) than on the surface of earth. Basically the ISS along with all other satellites need to be traveling very fast (around 4 or 5 miles a sec) because in their orbits they are essentially free falling to earth but moving so fast they keep missing it.
When capsules, shuttles, or whatever need to return to earth they turn around and burn thrusters retrograde to slow them down so they fall and hit earth.

Another large factor is the amount of fuel needed to punch through the atmosphere. All that fuel adds weight and compounds the problem.

Just to clarify, there is still plenty of gravity in space where humans and satellites go.

"A well regulated M*****a, being necessary to the security of a free State,"

This part of the second amendment doesn't make sense when you have it by itself.

"the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

This part does make sense by itself and is the part that hardcore second amendment advocates acknowledge. However it is not a statement by itself, it is connected to the former part, with a comma. This changes the meaning.

But in the end the Supreme Court did rule that we have an individual right to carry but it can be regulated.

I don't shoot with Pentax but I can offer general troubleshooting steps.

Check for a White Balance Bracketing option in the menus and ensure it is set to Off.

Set color space to sRGB unless you know what you want with color space.

Avoid high ISOs. I've read that high ISOs on your camera can cause funny colors. I checked your photos and they are lower than the threshold that I read about but still high for daytime shots.

Do you have an option to "Auto Detect Com Port"?
If so I'd give that a shot.

You may try clearing your cookies and cache in Firefox. When you do, you'll be signed out of all websites on that browser but it will likely fix the issue. As for Edge you can try the same thing as well.

Take a look at Peak Design straps and quick release connectors. The connectors are also used on certain straps made by Op/Tech and some camera manufacturers. They are surprisingly reliable.

I agree with Peak Design. I've had a couple high end straps that have used the tripod socket on the camera. Those are secure but got in my way when changing setups.
I currently use Peak Design Slide model. It's worked out wonderfully so far. The quick release tabs connect to the cameras eyelets instead of the tripod socket. I can carry a full frame body with a 150-600 lens without issue. I tend to tuck the lens' tripod collar into my front pocket to keep it from swinging around too much if I'm walking a far distance.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good selfie stick.
Would like to use it on days when I don’t want to lug my camera around with me.

I've seen some on Amazon ranging from $10-$30 depending on features. As with anything I'd suggest going with some that has a high # of reviews to stars ratio. E.g. 1000+ reviews & 4.5+ stars.
I personally like the ones with a Bluetooth trigger and expandable tripod legs.

Oh my. Reading comprehension seems to be lacking here. All they want is a recommendation for a selfie stick. Seems clear to me.

I realize that in general, airlines employ larger aircraft for flying between Maui and CONUS, so this REMINDER may be moot. But lately, I have observed on my flights taken on major U.S. carriers between major hubs, that the airlines have routinely been obliging passengers, at the last minute, to check their "roller" cases below whilst carryons without rollers remain with the passenger in the cabin.

This has happened to me recently. I pulled out the backpack straps and carried it on the plane. I've gotten in the habit of doing that now just so I won't be asked to check it again.

As others suggested, go with thinkTANK.
I use the Airport Takeoff V2.0. It's a roller bag with stowable (and rugged) backpack straps. I fit a 150-600 and an assortment of other lenses and accessories inside with room to spare.

Buy a spare eyecup or two for when you inevitably lose yours. It's apparently a thing with the d750. I picked up this two pack and I'm loving the hooded eyecup.

First off, 4k is a display resolution.
It is worth noting that in the photography world 4k resolution had been exceeded by by digital camera stills before 4k was even a thing. The video part of digital cameras had to catch up to the new 4k standard. So today you will see digital cameras marketed as 4k and they are indeed referring to the video resolution. (Because the video meets the 4k display standard)

Second, (I assume this is a Windows laptop) you will have to set your display settings as Extended (not Mirrored), and designate the 4k monitor as your primary (1) display. You can then set Display 1 to 3840x2160 and Display 2 to 1920x1080.

However you will be limited by your laptop and Windows version on how good this will all look and how well it will perform.
