I'm new to this forum so hope I'm posting this in right place. Thinking of heading out to New Mexico soon. I know there's plenty of photo ops out there but any suggestions? places for best landscapes, sunsets, people, architecture, etc.? I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks.
Don't forget the Toltec Cumbres scenic railroad. The better views are on the right side if the train.

,HOWEVER I worry about our Foreign Policy, I hate it when we go into Countries and Destroy them without building them back up like we helped build up Europe, Germany, Japan, and South Korea and I hate when we support Brutal Dictators and Regimes so I wonder if the Draft would just encourage even worse Foreign Policy or not, AS Much as I hate to be the World's Policeman, I also wonder if that role has kept us out of WWIII,,,ONE wonders in my War Viet Nam if we could have defeated Communism not by War but by having a much more Viable and Dynamic Economic System in Capitalism...or if the Domino Theory was correct...and one has to wonder in looking at Arms Sales Worldwide not only our Country but also a half a dozen other Countries if that is not a major driving force for conflict worldwide...[/quote]
One way to deal with those exemptions and deferments is to draft everyone and let the military docs decide who can get out. Since most of them will be draftees as well, they would be less likely to be swayed by anything except a real problem.

I am sorry for your troubles. Stories like this are the reason I don't have a Mac.
My wife is a PC Person while I had switched to Macs a few years ago. She seems to spend more time "fixing" her computers than I do and she is better at these gadgets than I am. Just sayin'.

Interesting stuff. I can imagine quite a few uses for this kit.
However, I do believe it is the first recorded instance of the use of "Endoscope" and "fun" in the same sentence.
Andy
That would depend on which side of the endoscope one finds ones self.

Nice series, however #3,taken while standing between the rails, is not the safest thing to do.
Probably not legal either. The whole right of way is private property.

Unfortunately, the same could be said of us, unless one is inordinately fond of nuclear weapons.
I have had many experiences wherein I did not photograph because of the notices but one situation has always confused me a bit: historic places that don't want you to shot because they think they need to sell you their photos. Most of the time I don't buy their stuff; I just wanted to record my own impressions of the place. Why not sell me a time/dated permit to photograph, sans flash of course, and just let me bang away for the duration of my permit?
*Congressional Reform Act of 2013
1. No Tenure / No Pension.
A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office.
2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 12/31/13. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women.
Congressmen/women made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.
If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive the message. Don't you think it's time?
THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!
If you agree with the above, pass it on. If not, just delete.
You are one of my 20+
Please keep it going.
Two quick points : there are no beans in Texas Chili, the Chili goes on the the beans for the tender feet.
The other is I am not allowed to make chili for my family any more. Probably would have come as "moderate with well balanced heat and flavor complexity but not really hot enough?
