I think it looks better in sepia. It is also a beautiful color photograph. I prefer sepia.

A sensor is what the image is put on when you take a picture with a digital camera. It has taken the place of film. I can't tell you the technical jargon but that is basically what it is. I has taken the place of film. The sensor has different ISO's (ASA'S) for the sensitivity of the sensor. Instead of using different ASA'S of film you can change the sensitivity but changing your ISO on the camera such as ISO 100, 200, 400, etc.

My first camera was a Kodak Brownie Starflash. I got it in 1956. I still have it and had a roll of slide film that was in it. I took color print film and slide film with it.

I would send the lens to the manufacturer and have it cleaned. Be sure to get an estimate first and then make a decision whether to repair or replace the lens.

I agree 100%. If the composition is good, it's well exposed and it conveys a message it's a good photograph. Photography is very subjective. I have looked at a few photographs and didn't like them at all. But who am I? These images were made by famous photographers. I know in the years I have been taking photographs for myself and my clients and I have developed a better eye for a good image. Sometimes that means breaking all the rules.

The first shot is good but would have been a lot better if you could have had the ladies look toward you but I know how it is when other people are trying to take shots of the same people that you are. I do weddings a lot and I have to ask people to let me take my shots first so all the eyes are toward me. The other thing is the lady in the middle can't hardly be seen. There again is the problem with competing photographers. In the second picture the lady would have looked a lot more natural if she was not leaning so much.

Beautiful images. The snow seems to add to their beauty, even the black & white.

An outstanding image. I love the way the American flag just jumps out at you. Truly a fantastic image.

Great images. I noticed you said they were straight out of the camera. I would boost the saturation up a little to bring out the foilage.

The path is an outstanding image. I think if you moved you camera angle a few feet to the right it would be even better. I have found that varying the angles just a little bit often make the images better.

I think it is a beautiful shot. It is very different. I don't think I have seen a shot like that before.

These are some really awesome images. They are really beautiful. As some of the other posters have said Mrs. Swamp Gator has a lot of talent. She should try to sell some of these images to some of the nature magazines or stock photo agencies.
