For those who want a treat, look at Rick's images. The care with which he shoots is admirable. I've learned more by looking at thousands of pictures than I ever have by reading books about photography.

One just has to look at the current Administration's cabinet to figure out that they adore the concept of equity. It's much like opening a phone book (that certainly dates me) and picking names. Of course, this phone book has to be subdivided into groups such as: t***s, q***r, black, female, lesbian,Hispanic, white, Asian, male, etc. And then each group will be again subdivided so everyone has the same chance of being our Secretary Of Homeland Security. And that, folks, is how we got said Secretary who looks at our southern border with an endless line of i******s wading across and declares the border to be closed.

The democrats in california want more b****s and i******s to move there so that when the next census comes about, the state can gain back from a depleted population. Representation is based on number of people, not number of citizens. More representatives means more federal funds will once again flow from other states. I legally live in Texas so I am more than willing to send them all of our i******s. Even though I don't live on the Mexican/American border, I do have to see our tax dollars being used for i******s instead of our own needy.

I have a CoolpixP950 in addition to my D850. The attached picture was taken with the Coolpix with some minor post processing. The Coolpix is a breeze to use but not great for motion or long distances. It is light with fingertip adjustments. My arthritic joints love it but I do switch back to my D850 at times.

Those of you who are celebrating the death of Rush could not possibly have listened to his show. He was a true teacher in an age where teachers have sunk low in respect and honor, he was a patriot in an age where bashing America is rampant, he was a generous man in an age where fraud and self-serving greed lifts a man to be the current President. If you ever heard him talking to one of his young (and I mean young) callers, you would smile inside. If you read his books for children, you would not doubt his grasp of history and his love of country.

So go ahead and delight in your scorn and hatred because you are diminished, not Rush.

It is not just competing in sports that is affected. Now any school that accepts Federal funding (not many that don't) must allow students to declare themselves to be a g****r different from which they were born. That means that Tommy can use the girls' restrooms and locker rooms while remaining an intact male. Of course, the opposite is true also. Susie can use the boys' restrooms and locker rooms. I doubt she would remain an intact female for long.

Former President Trump has been impeached twice for political and only political reasons. He has had one trial and was not found guilty. Now the democrats want another trial in hopes of telling millions of American v**ers who they are not allowed to v**e for. What a trashy group the democrats are. Already in the Biden first weeks, our young girls are now going to lose their ability to compete in sports on a fair basis. They will be subjected to indecencies in bathrooms and locker rooms. If you have a daughter or granddaughter and you v**ed for Grandpa Gropes, shame on you.

It's not that I believe a lot of conspiracies but if something like that arrived, my instinct would be to call my local police. They might be interested in having it tested especially if it came from China. And if you handle it, wear gloves.

I think we could easily make a long list of impeachable acts that Obama committed. I'll start off with a couple and you all can add to it since we now are talking about impeaching former presidents: 1. Using government agencies to spy on a political opponent and 2. Furnishing weapons to Mexican drug cartels.

I live in Galveston, TX. A topic of conversation is the coyote cat catching and how the coyotes should come out on the bad end of the stick. Galveston has a law that says all pets need to be under the control of their owners and on leash if off the owner's property. We have a very transient population as medical students come and go. Many put off having children until they are more established so they get pets. And they don't keep these pets safe. It is easier to blame the coyotes rather than themselves. I appreciate the coyotes. We have a busy port and busy ports have rats. The coyotes do a good job keeping the rat population under control so our coyotes are healthy, too. Fun fact, our coyotes have a tiny bit of red wolf DNA and in my eyes, that makes them even more special.

Lovely butterflies. I, too, have been wondering where the butterflies are. I live in Galveston, TX and the flowers are going gangbusters but very few butterflies.

Crosley is a great looking pup. All the pictures are delightful but that last one makes me want to get a puppy!
