Yes, they are. I have the DJI Mavic 2 Pro with Hasselblad camera. The new better drones have Obstacle Avoidance. Just as the label implies, they sense objects before impact and move around or above them.

I went from the P4P to the Mavic 2 Pro and am near-sighted, so I empathize. I still like having the state of the art technology from the dominant drone manufacturer. With time and practice I see it better and anticipate its movements. But the main reason why I wanted to reply to you is to tell you ... you're a good and fun writer. You tell a good story. Enjoyed. Taking an Adv. Photography class we were given an assignment to utilize Manual Focus. Found I could grab a photo previously unavailable to me. Getting this close in a dark area prevented the Auto Focus from functioning. MF did the trick. Feel I gained a useful option for a difficult situation ...

The Harbor Seals of Pacific grove are giving birth to their pups. So far 22 have been born, just about one every day. They are shy animals.
