I will be touring Yogyakarta Indonesia in January. Plans are in place to visit the temples and major tourist sites. I did many Google searches for Photo tours and they all seem to take you to the temples and tourist sites. This is a long shot but does anyone on this forum know of someone that you would recommend to take us (3 people) to local areas to do some street photography? Just looking for some contact.

I have INTREX with an i7-4770 @3.4GHz, 32GB, SSD drives, GTX1070 6GB. After turning the graphics card I was able to process photos in 5-8 sec. with Topaz Sharpen AI. Saving the photo takes about 20 sec. Key to using this application is the graphics card.

Obviously there are a lot of people on here that know nothing about the shutter recall advisory from Nikon about faulty shutters in numerous high end cameras lately. The shutter replacement is free due to the recall and all the other items being replaced are complements of Nikon, free. I do not understand why this camera is being sold so cheap. I have one myself and would not consider anything less than $1500.00.

I set the price at what I thought would be a fair price. One can get a body with a battery pack and a warranty for about $1500 (adorama, best buy). I would love to get $1500, but I am also realistic.

Did Nikon reset the shutter count when they replaced the shutter? What is the status of the warranty? Thanks! BTW, I'm near Wake Forest... not far from you. 👍🤓👍

Nikon does not reset the counter after shutter replacement. There is lots of discussion about this if you do an internet search. As for the warranty, I registered it for the 1 year when it was new. That since long ran out.
Wake Forest, maybe we can work something out.

So, if I may ask, why are you selling it? Hopefully, you are upgrading!!!!!! My D700 has done well for me, but the shutter count is high & I am starting to have a few issues with the camera. And, besides I want to upgrade!

While the camera was being repaired I decided to purchase a 2nd D750 and keep this camera as a backup. Love the camera! Anyway plans have changed and I am not getting the use to justify 2 cameras.

After getting all those things repaired & replaced, it should be in excellent condition. Why did the camera need such a major overhaul?

Yes, the camera is in excellent condition. No scratches, marks or wear points.

Was it damaged? To need all that repair?

No damage. The shutter stopped working while I was on a trip to Southeast Aisa. I sent it into Nikon for an estimate and the response was a repaired camera with all the mentioned items. "Good Will Repair Rubber Grips" included.

If you plan to go to Siem Reap Cambodia contact Rany. This guy will go out of his way to get you a great experience. The pictures attached were taken at sites and locations suggested by Rany as I had only 48 hours to tour.
