I have enjoyed reading your comments over the years. Thank you for your last sentence! Just the advice I was looking for and could not get (even from Apple). I am a 92 year old replacing a beloved 16GB 27" and cannot waste more time awaiting a 27" messiah. Spend much time copying and retouching travel slides. Most of the "technical" comment so far seems to concern the machine's color with one on You Tube going orgasmic on the the "new" black. (My unasked for advice to that lady: if handling your laptop mucks it up so much perhaps more hand washing is called for instead of a new paint formulation).
From my 1st visit in 1959 through several others through the 90's I noted areas with small, extremely neat, brick homes virtually all with lace curtains in the front windows and a water faucet (often polished) near the front door. The front yards were of beaten earth never of grass.
It would be an even nicer picture of a pretty girl if it were cropped at the bottom of her skirt. As it is it emphasizes her bowed legs.
I read somewhere long ago that the the convolutions of the ear are somewhat akin to a fingerprint. Anyway, a picture of your ear taken at the same angle as the ear in the photo may prove interesting.
Check a close-up of your right ear against the right ear of the man in the photo.
First, increase the Saturation and Contrast a bit.
Back in 1960 or so while working at BuWeps for the Navy we got an RCA (remember when they made room size computers?) hard disc. It was a single vertical disc a quarter of an inch thick and covered in brown magnetic material about the size of a picnic table. It heralded a new concept, "Random Access" at a time when large data bases were stored on a battery of 1 foot reels of tape each mounted on a tape machine the size of a refrigerator.
I think the word you want is "genteel readers" as opposed to "gentile readers".
One would think that the view finder window would always be on the same axis as the the lens opening, however the opposite seems to be true from the Leica/Contax on down.
It is a focus problem. A few stamens on the right side are in focus as evidenced by the sharp dots. f8 or f16 may have been a better bet.
