I was stationed there just before my trip to the Med. Would like to go back with my wife and tour the place but guess we could not since 9/11 and I have no one there I could visit. At 80 I will be lucky to get a picture of the front entrance. Hope you have a grate visit with your son and thank him for his service in the greatest service in the world. Once a Marine always a Marine, Semper Fi.
It only works when the lens is at 18mm.
Has anyone found a way to stop this lens from creeping. Does Tamron have a fix for it?. Thanks for any answers.
Glad you got the lens off and you are getting it fixed.
They are inside. There are 4 on the lens. Looks like they are very short but they would be in the way of twisting off the lens if they were to back out.
I just took off my Tamron 18-270 from my Canon 60D and there are 4 screws on the track that if they come loose could probably stick the lens when turning it to get it off the camera. I hope you have good luck with whoever you have take it off.
I'm not a Nikon man but you sure are a thinking man !!!!!!!.
I use B&H and Adorama both are excellent and don't charge me sales tax and most items I buy ship free. Amazon now charges Florida residents sales tax. B&H customer support is the best.
I do all my buying from B&H. They might be a little more but they have the best customer service and I have never had a problem with them. I have bought 2 cameras, 2 TV's and a receiver from them. I use a Canon 60D. Stay away from 42nd Street. If not B&H there are other good ones on the internet. Good luck.
My computer crashed and I had to download Win 10. The one thing I don't like is the e-mail. Outlook is terrible, I wish I could get back my original MSN mail.
I don't want to confuse you but look at the SHANNY SN600SC and compare it to the Yongnuo YN600ext and the Canon 600ex. I have the Shanny for my 60D and it is great so far. I've only had it a few months but it is just the same as the Canon but only $120. Going to use it to photo a wedding in about a month.
Been using the Tamaron 18-270 for a couple of years and am pretty happy with it. The only problem is that it creeps.
Thank you very much ecobin.
Has anyone used a ALZO flash bracket?. I am looking for a flash bracket that is good but not expensive. I came across the ALZO and it looks like what I want especially the one with the umbrella kit for $119.48. I don't trust the opinions that I see listed on Amazon and I don't see the umbrella kit one listed on B&H. If anyone on Hedgehog has used one please let me know what you think. You don't have to have the umbrella kit just the main unit. Thank you for your comments.
I had trouble with my Win 7 so decided to do a re-install so I deleted 7 but when I tried re-loading the second disk of the saved Win 7 would not work. So I downloaded 10. Big mistake, so now I believe I have lost everything including my 1200 - 1300 pictures I had. It says I have a HP-RECOVERY D drive ut it can't be accessed any way that I know how. Live and learn I guess.
