Check your facts again. Those 10 peacekeepers were from Chad, they were not Canadian. The Canadian forces were mobilized to rescue and evacuate. Most, if not all the UN peacekeepers k**led in Mali have been from Africa.
I doubt too many people are going to get very close(for a reasonable photo) to a bull Moose with a cel phone camera.
So you are wrong. It is pronounced "sick" all over the world especially in India where the religion originated.
Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but he word Sikh, is pronounced "sick" not seek.
Shot turned around lying on my stomach shooting the opening I crawled in. Used a 10-22mm. This is a sandstone cave used ambient light. Most lines of view point to the opening.

Note taken. Thank you, randomeyes.
example of Dragonfly and Damselfly
Those are Damsel flies. Dragons wings extend 90 degrees to their body, Damsels wings extend along the body. Just sayin'.

Admin bans folks from the site entirely who assume multiple identities does he not? So if your accusations were true surely we would not be able to have this nice little chat?
And so far you have said zilch about Portugal.
Stay tuned...............

Sorry old boy I have to disappoint you with the artistic photography gig. Like you I just take snaps. I of course freely admit this whereas you I believe would like us to believe you have a degree of knowledge about the subject and qualify as a photographer. I will leave you to dwell on the delusions about your self and your posted snaps for others to judge.
Well you see, Billy, or Willy, or Wideopen, or Calibre or whatever you will be calling yourself today, you know nothing about me, and I could care less what you think of my abilities, whereas, I know a great deal about you. Tell me, what compels a grown man to try and "weasel" his way back into a forum he has been banned from, using a bunch of false identities, and rather poorly at that? Reminds me of your friend. Birds of a feather................

I thought those were exactly the type of women a Frenchman returning to Europe woud be attracted to. Or at least you claimed to be one.

Let me use one of WR's favorite expressions: "What an idiot."
I would guess that this " straight shooter's" next alias will be Willyspad. Nose still pressed up against the glass. what a shame.
C'mon Billy, or whoever you are at this time, let's see some of your artistic photography. We are waiting.............

Did the admin not ban you permanently? Too bad.
I see Billy is adding his intelligent comments to this thread much like he did in FYC. At least he was Billyspad today.
You know this "straight shooter" and his "alter egos" are so easy to track. One of the flaws of his personality disorder is that he thinks he is more intelligent than other people.
He was banned from FYC and it appears he is steadily progressing for a complete ban from the site. He is constantly trying to sneak into FYC under an assortment of aliases, he doesn't leave a trail of bread crumbs to follow, he leaves whole slices of bread!
He still is acting like the little kid whose nose is pressed against the window of a store he was ejected from. Quite sad really.
You would think a man of his years would know better.

Yes it is a bit soft he was fluffing his feathers, just before he cleaned his talons.

I like the image, but must admit to having been very disoriented by the view...I got the impression of a water level and strangely molded or eroded rock surfaces among which I had trouble deciding which way was up.
Then I rotated the image and found a view that seemed to make more sense.
Were you looking downward through an aperture at a more brightly lit area in which there was flowing water?
In your posted image the bright, "comma shaped" object seems to project up toward the viewer. When rotated, it appears to be viewed at a distance through an aperture...????
Help me out here....please?

Quite confusing, I know Dave. The water flows into the cave from the right( from the point of the comma, if you will) It pools in a the basin center left. I have attached another photo showing another part of the cave, there are many openings, all fill with water right to the top of the cave. The surfaces are ground smooth by the eons of wave action. I was sitting on what would be the floor of the cave shooting towards the openings. Hope that is of some help.

Interesting view..well done randomeyes
Thanks Frank. I really do not like tight spaces, these caves are underwater at high tide. They are quite beautiful.
