I cut a Pringles tin at 45 degrees and put a bit of kitchen paper over it as an experiment.
Did a quick garden safari...a bush cricket in a rose, the image has been compressed the original is sharper.
I was pleasantly surprised by the results.

I'm no expert but image #2 is at a much lower resolution, your export setting in Lightroom need adjusting.

The colours are not quite the same.
The first time the image was processed completely in Lightroom.
This time from Lightroom I went into Photoshop and deleted the dangly bits and exported back to Lightroom as a TIFF and then created the JPEG...

Enjoyed the opening set very much, but this one really steals my heart. The brightly colored background seems the perfect Costa Rican setting. Cloning? Unless you're entering to some contest with strict rules on editing, you should absolutely do what pleases you!

You are right...I'll do it!

In camera I really liked this one but when printed the flower buds hanging under the body look really odd.
You aren't supposed to play around with wildlife images too much, I could clone them out for my own use I suppose...

Great set, beautiful birds....presuming the #3 photo is a whippoorwill, great shot and the camouflage is incredible

I am told it is a Great Potoo ... is it bigger than the whippoorwill ...?

A great set. Talk about camouflage on #3?

I pointed it out to several other people who couldn't see it without looking through my camera...I'm pretty pleased with myself for spotting it, not being a bird watcher and it being the first time I had ever seen one
The experts tell me it could have been sitting on an egg too!

Do you happen to know what type of bird #3 is? Type of owl?
