They are so cute! Almost looks like just one cat that is sitting in front of a mirror! :)

If you have 100 or so more, with this theme and quality, publish a book. I'll buy it.

Are you talking about cowgirls or eventing?

You've got some great concepts and your photography is very artistic. Are you using any reflectors or remote strobes? It seems like you’re using in singular light source: the sun. Add some secondary light as fill and soften the shadows a little and it will take your work to the next level!

I look forward to seeing more images! Keep it up!

Was this for me?

I really enjoy your work. It gives a true gritty 'feel' of being out there! Great job!

Thank you! I'm a big country girl myself. If I had to pick a specialty it would definitely be horses and their owners!

I really like the poses and composition.. I do like the last one with the horse on each side..

My only criticism might be your choice of focus point in each one.. Perhaps I don't "get it", but I would presume that the girl, particularly her face, would be where I would nail the focus.... but it seems to be the hat, shirt, and horse ???

The hat and the horse were on purpose. The shirt was pure mistake. I'm big on 'out of the ordinary'. I took one of the close up that focused on her face but I liked this one better. Thank you for your comments

Very cool shot, I love how the sun created specular highlights in her hair. This is a shot that could have used just a little fill. A reflector bouncing a little bit of that sun light onto her face could have really evened out the exposure and contrast.

Thanks....I'll have to try that next time.

I used to use CDs/DVDs. But it got to the point that I had hundreds and hundreds of them that I had to store. So I got an external hard drive. So much easier!

I am not sure about Elements 8, sorry.

Thank you! I will relay info. I'm not sure if she has cs5 or e8. Looks like either one we will be able to figure it out!
