Something sticky got on the front element of my lens, what is the best thing to use to clean it?
Thanks for the responses. It is working fine, I just want to keep it that way.
I was recently gifted a Manfrotto Ball-head from an estate. it is a model3262QR which is apparently an old one as I have had no luck finding an owners manual online. My question for the group: What is the proper maintenance for this head. Should the ball be periodically lubricated, and if so, whith what?
Thanks
I am not trying to start any arguments here, just stating personal experiences. I have had bad and good experiences with Fedex and UPS. I have never had a bad experience with USPS.
The absolute best spot on the Oregon coast is anywhere between the Columbia River and the California border.
It looks like a sensor to turn accessories on and off with a remote.
A blue Angel taking off. I was in the old control tower at the Boeing Museum of Flight, the jet was the last of the group to take off practicing for Seafair so it was a one time chance. I framed it between the tails of two parked planes...I wanted some blur to show movement, guessed at an appropriate shutter speed but guessed a little too slow. Too blurry, but still recognizable.
Thanks everyone...I think I will stick with OEM
I am looking for a back-up battery for my a77. My first thought was to go with original equipment, but after checking I have some confusion and could use some advice from those who know. The original battery is 7.2V, one I found is 7.4V. Would the higher voltage cause any damage or is .2V insignificant?
The original is 11.8 Wh. Two I have found have 14.8 Wh and 15.8 Wh. Does anyone know what this difference in watt hours would mean. Longer life? Shorter Life? Nothing important?
Thanks
Forgot to mention a Ciroflex (pictured) given to me by a neighbor and a Nomad 620 I got when I was about 10.
In High school (mid 60's) I bought a Pentax Spotmatic. Got a lot of lenses and used it until the late 70's when it decided to take a dip in the Pacific. I bought a Chinon because by then, it was the only camera made that still used the old Pentax screw mount. After more than 20 years, that camera literally fell apart so I donated all my Pentax lenses and got a Minolta, got more glass. When I moved to Digital I got a Konica-Minolta and when I decided to upgrade, I got a Sony
a77.
Thanks for the replys...I have found an e cycle near me.
Is there anything in a DSLR (Sensor) that would considered hazardous waste? Do I just put it in the garbage? it is completely nonworking, over 12 years old and not an expensive camera to begin with.
First camera...Nomad 620 when I was about 10. Became interested in Photography in high school in '63 when my neighbor gave me a Ciroflex which was made the year I was born.
