Does anyone have experience processing 2 1/4 slides using the Epson V600 scanner. ThIs scanner does not have a specific holder for these slides. The slides need to be put directly on the glass while still in their individual mounts.

My V600 came with a holder for slides for 35mm and 2.25. Are you sure it is not stowed away somewhere?

Try Park Cameras. Always had good service there.

Have EM1 m2. Love it, it meets all my needs. OK, full frame may have better low light capability but that doesn't affect me in particular.

That's why I settled on identifying the flowers during my hillwalking days, those little devils don't run away while you are looking through the book trying to discover what they are!

Scanner is excellent but I now have an iMac running Mojave. Apparently this is a 64 bit system and the Epson software is 32 bit. Epson have no drivers for Mojave so I just hope it continues working until Epson get a driver developed.

Nothing to do with the query, (I use the Olympus OMD E-M1mk2, a superb camera with outstanding lenses), but nice to see the avatar from "MAD" magazine. I used to read it cover to cover many times over. The Don Martin cartoons were excellent!

Get there early (7.30 am, ish) to beat the bus loads of tourists. A tripod is an advantage.

I was there yesterday (Tuesday). Looking in the printed guide to the Photography Show I see that Adobe had the 'Adobe Theatre' where there were lectures and demonstrations on all four days at the rate of seven per day, and not all repeats of Saturday's. I do not call this a lack of Adobe at the show! While I did not attend any of them I was aware they were there especially as there was a large sign clearly saying "Adobe Theatre"

Are there Nikon apps you could put onto your phone? In that case all you would need to do is choose which app for a particular camera. My Olympus remote app allows me to change ISO, shutter speed and aperture as well as fire it. I can also select focus point.

What about underexposed? If it is black on white and the white is coming out grey then surely, it needs an extra stop or two exposure!

Lens sounds good but add a wider one. With the poor state of sterling buy a Sigma 10-20 mm while you are over here!

Are you sure they are referring to FOCAL length or just overall size of camera/lens combination front to back? Some places do have such a restriction. May be worth checking this out!
