Personally I think you did good here. You caught her as HER - the lights and shadows as they were. When you go to a lot post work you take away the real person and have an imitation of that person. She is your daughter, a beautiful young lady, make your adjustments with the camera and your eye but leave the picture of the real person alone. No disrespect intended and granted I'm just amateur but I feel when you do post processing of a person, you take away the real person.
..........thinking of getting my bbq set out. She comes by the back of the apt bldgs almost every day with her fawns.
Beautiful work - simply beautiful
Welcome and usually in the camera menu there'll be a resolution or pixel count setting - low, medium and high. I have a SX40 and XTi with both set on high and I order 18x24 prints all the time with no problem. I never do any cutting as that takes away the pixel count that's needed. So when you take a picture of something you intend to get enlarged, if you have a zoom lens, then focus on what you want.Sometimes you have to get close to the subject to get what you want.
These were out back of my apt bldg near my apt. They come around once in awhile.
Yuppir - the vintage look is much more suiting - nice job.
lol lol It's like he's showing you how hot his gloves are. Good photo
I like #1 the best but all 3 are really good. I think in my next life I'll be your student. lol lol
What the hell.....I needed a good laugh today and this done the trick. Ok - Bobby, you are damn good in what you do with photography and putting it in an artistic form. Why lower yourself to the troll level - you're much better than that. Granted, even I may not understand everything you do, or why, but I do understand photographic art when I see it and you do excellent work. So......have a pepsi, forget this wasted lapse - and keep up the good work.
I think #1 is the best tho they are all good. As usual with all your work.
Yup - that light between the trees is a killer and sensorloupe is right about the pose - she doesn't look relaxed at all.
You can do some very nice stuff with fractalius - works great with vehicles too.
Don't know if this will help but......I had a problem with weatherbug all of a sudden throwing up ads whenever I went on line. I search thru everything but couldn't find a way to stop it. Finally I ran the maleware/spyware program, then my anti virus (avast) program. And problem solved. Give it a shot.
As a side note - if you run into a problem where your computer doesn't work right after you run these and clean your systems, just reboot and hit f11 as soon as your monitor shows anything - that lets you recover. Just back date a few days and all will be well again.
Beautiful lady and in the 3rd photo you can see a devilish determination there. Best of luck with the para-olympics.
Hi Bobby - I just went to the internet search engine and typed your name in out of curiosity and up popped several sites under your name. I looked thru 4 or 5 of them and yup - it was you. And just as these pictures here show - you are a man of many photographic talents. I may only know you on here thru UHH but I do feel priviledged in having "met" you. You do incredible work that alot of us - me any how - would love to be able to do. Every photographer has his/her own little niche - pro and amateur - but you have several branches growing out from that niche and each branch shows a different side to your talents. Thank you for sharing with us here at UHH.
