You can do the same with the Photix Odin
Ever consider Photix Odin? It's a ttl system at 60% the cost of PW
I have this lens and want to add about filters for it. Lee is a wonderful system but take a look at the Wonderpana 145. I now have 2 3 4 5 and 10 stop ND filters. A UV filter and a CPL plus a lens cap that fits. I am now exploring long term exposures with excellent results
I used the service outlet in Arizona to repair my 100-300 f4 DG HSM. They were great on quoting and repairing and re shipping safely one of my favorite lenses.
Doesn't innovation and new ideas stem from breaking the rules? Not that many years ago, digital images weren't considered an art.
Have you considered using a back brace similar to the ones warehouse
workers use? They provide support while being flexible.
I have an app on my iPhone called Skywatch. I use it to track the planets path over the period of day or night. If you touch a planter it will show you their path. If you follow along the pathline it will show you the approximate time that planet will be at that point. I use it for sunlight angles in canyons and such. its pretty accurate and inexpensive if you pay the upgrade to avoid ad banners.
I've used BestCanvas with stellar results. Excellent pricing and very prompt delivery.
I have. Detail 3 just released has some new excellent features which can be used with photoshop as a plug in or as a part of Topaz labs. I use Lightroom as the initial part of my workflow. I then open in photoshop for more detail work using topaz filters. You will be extremely pleased with the end result. Look on their website for tutorials on their plugins.
Still, nice shot of a very happy pooch
I no longer use a mouse. The pen is mightier! It's excellent for control on minute details like masks.
Last time I checked on Amazon, a 16GB eye-fi card was around $100 usd.
Basically it's an SD chip with built in Wi-Fi. Configure it on your home PC so it can "talk" to your iPad and voila! It's very similar to tethering your camera and iPad. Basically.
Have you considered using an Eye-Fi card and using the ad-hoc connection to immediately transfer images to your iPad ? In the wilderness there may be no Internet available immediately but you can be as far as 100' from card to iPad.
Just a thought
