Thank you for this information.
I know it's important to calibrate my computer monitor. I'm looking to purchase either Spyder or Colormunki. I print my own prints on a Canon Pro 100. In my reading, it appears I may need a calibration tool for my printer too. Since my main concern is that the pictures printed look like what I see on screen. So is it advisable to purchase a combined monitor and printing unit? They are quite expensive and if so, any comments on which brand is the preferred? Any input is appreciated. Cheryl
I love them and I'm sad soon they'll leave my area. The males have already gone.
How cute, it looks like a baby? I like your idea of the perch. I just set out all my bird feeders and hummingbird feeder, hoping the spring hits Northwest Indiana soon. Sick of snow. Nice photos.
Very nice photos. My favorite is #1, it tells a story.
I usually shoot my Hummingbirds, shutter priority, but manual focus on a tripod, mainly with a fill flash. Love your shot. Cheryl
Thanks for your comments. Hey, I see you are from NC. Your avatar is it from the Outter Banks dune area? Just wondering, my son was stationed in Virginia Beach, VA and when we visited him, we drove there for a little mini-vacation. Beautiful area...but not in hurricane season. Cheryl
Ha, ha, great shot! Cheryl
I like the cropped version best. Very good shot. Cheryl
Beautiful, I agree about the cropping and would hang it on my wall. Very cute little girl. Cheryl
I really, really like the first photo best. I like the lighting and wouldn't change a thing. In this particular case, I like being able to see the background a bit. If you were going for something more moody, than the background could have been blackened out more. But, you got the shot you want - good job. Thanks for the post, Cheryl
Here are a couple photos of my two little hummingbirds. Just playing with various settings right now, getting back into the swing of photographing them. I do like to get them mid flight, but it was getting dark out. Cheryl
First pic of the season, my little Hummer
It's Twilight, my Hummer is looking to get booted off his perch
Beautiful shot. Can I ask what f stops, shutter, lens, flash set up did you use? Thanks Cheryl
P.S. manual focus or automatic. I tend to manual focus.
Nice pictures. We went to our cottage in Michigan, usually some people we allow on our property get them before we do. However, this year they left some for us. Since we don't get their until the end of May, someone may as well pick them in April. But, we got probably and 2 pounds. I'm wondering if there is a certain way to clean them and are there other mushrooms that look like Morels that are poisonous? Well, mine do look like the photos you posted, so I'm hoping I can get a few pictures of them maybe frying. Thanks for the photos, Cheryl
