The problem with most people buying Tripods is they don't buy a good enough one. Buy once and buy right. Instead they buy one that's seems sturdy enough. Look at RR website and read how to pick a tripod. Same thing on Gitzo site. You judge one by thickness of upper leg. You should try and get one that's upper leg is at least 37mm thickness. There is a company named Feisol.there tripods are almost as good as the Gitzo or RR. They are about 60% of the others price. On heads you really should look into RR stuff. I own one of the Feisol and has held up great.

Not exactly true you are paying the tax. Payboo is crediting the exact same amount back to you. This is done at the time of sale. Look at your receipt. It has the tax on it and the Payboo credit on it.

Just wanted to say thank you to B&H and especially Hershel. No I did not have a GAS attack for a new camera or lens but a GAS attack for stereo equipment. Back in May Klipsch speakers went on sale. Being stuck home I got back into my music. TV was giving me a head ache. So I order 3 separate order in 4 days. All were on backorder. A pair of floor standing fronts a subwoofer then the center channel and surrounds. Everything started to come in by the middle of June. By the second to third week of June I had the subwoofer, center channel and surrounds but still on backorder were the front pair. As July rolls in I get the update my fronts are in and will be shipped to arrive on July 7th. On that day FedEx delivers my fronts. First thing I see is the boxes there in are in really bad shape. Open the first box from bottom so as to just pick up box. As I was picking up the box out falls all the styrofoam just about shredded. The speaker has on the bottom a metal grid that's bent out. The top has damage on the wood. Called up BH no problem send them back. The only thing is they want me to bring it to FedEx. These speakers weigh 60 lbs each. No way can I do that. So I looked up Hershel here. The next day I texted him. In 20 minutes or less my phone rings it's Hershel. It's about 10 am by 1:30 pm that day FedEx picked up the speakers for return. So again thank you Hershel for once again taking care of another UHH member. Barry

Amazon has both authorized venders and non authorized venders ( grey market venders) selling products. There are times the distinction between authorized and non authorized is difficult to see in the add. Those times I ask a question to the vender threw Amazon if they are authorized. Usually within 24 hours I receive there answer.

You probably ordered threw non authorized distributor. I have dealt with Sirui in the past and always had good results. They are very strict on non authorized venders..

Check out Acratech they have many configurations and are outstanding heads. I have the Acratech GP ball head which does offer panning.

Digital Goya is an out standing company with great customer service just as B&H is. Both are authorized venders. I have purchased from both. Would not hesitate to buy from either. When I purchased my Sigma 100-400 Digital Goya threw in the USB Dock plus a micro fiber lens cleaner which was very nice. The tripod was junk maybe okay for point and shoot. The price at the time I purchased was the same every where but with out the USB Dock. That is why I bought it there.
