I had hoped for the same but unseasonably wet weather over a week or two and the nest was empty. The babies were in the bush (at least two) and learning to fly - I could never get a shot.
Guess I have to finish trimming that hedge now! :)
The bird had a strange sound so I think y'all nailed it. "Once youve heard its catty mew you wont forget it"
... thanks everybody!
I was trimming hedges in my yard and nearly whacked this nest down! Was able to get some pics leaning out my bedroom window. I cropped the images in Photo-Paint

I have tried using CameraTrace and other tools to no avail - no exif data hits. My only hope now is that someone may go to buy this camera (or a pawn shop may search for the serial) and find this post and contact me.

If anyone knows of other tools or if there is a lost or stolen camera registry / database please let me know.
Stolen Camera Info:
Sony
A77
Serial 0179460
Okay - this was not intended to be a PayPal/eBay/Craigslist thread. Let's just say my camera was stolen and leave it at that.
In this regard I have made a very interesting discovery - Sony does NOT provide the camera's serial number in its EXIF data for the A77 (feel free to google) so I now have little hope of recovery through online tools.

Wrong, wrong, wrong..... Someone's feeding you a line full of crap..................
How so? Buyer paid with CC, PayPal accepted, and funds went into my PP account. Buyer CC did chargeback to PP. PP seized my Paypal funds balance.
My CC is not involved.

Let me repeat !!!
Your credit card company is at fault..........................
My credit card company is not involved. Buyer's credit card company and PayPal are involved.
I have tried using CameraTrace and other tools to no avail - no exif data hits. My only hope now is that someone may go to buy this camera (or a pawn shop may search for the serial) and find this post and contact me.
Item was sold by me on eBay and then the purchaser issued a credit card chargeback 7 months(!!!) later. My days of eBay/PayPal are now over - seller protection is a joke if this can happen so far after transaction date (Sep 2012).
If anyone knows of other tools or if there is a lost or stolen camera registry / database please let me know.

I would suggest Google Sites. Http://sites.google.com
Absolutely free, no ads, and they have a lot of templates to start from.

Very nice! The black eyes are kind of scary :~/
I received an email from eBay with the subject:
Earn 20% in eBay Bucks!
Normally I ignore these (because the deals are too restrictive) but happened to catch that Beach Camera was on the list of stores and ALL purchases earn 20% back.
I was actively looking for a lens to add to my Sony A77/SAL1650 combo and picked up the SAL55300 for $240 (net) after the $60 earned in eBay Bucks. With Christmas coming this is as good as cash to me.
Anyway - just a heads up to UHH'ers who use eBay Bucks and MAY have gotten the email.
