I already published two books on Blurb. This was the first one. I really liked the result. I am planning on making a couple more. The only thing is that it is expensive... http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/1418735

Has anyone tried Blurb.com to create a photo book? I am considering having several books made as Christmas gifts. So if anyone has dealt with them, or any other web sites that perform similar services, I would love to hear about your experience and whether satisfaction was achieved. Thanks to everyone.

I bought that camera before my last trip to India. I LOVE IT ! Here is a picture of the moon taken on June 24 zoomed 100X, a picture taken at night in Amritsar (India) on automatic and a portrait of a sadu (in Jaisalmer, India). So you see that it takes great pictures, close or far away, in full sunshine or at night. I think you will LOVE IT too ! I also have a Canon Rebel XTi and I don't use it any more... Have fun !

It's Tuesday already again :) What were your best shots last week. Hit me with 'em. (This is an early start, but I am up early tomorrow and need my beauty sleep. PLus I am cross-eyed from trying to photograph T shirts. Sounds simple enough - only 12. Well, sure is hard, using all I learned in Denver Plus… to get "true color" on these things. Am halfway done and nothing edited….

These shots were taken at the living museum we visited the end of June. I was looking for "simple" this time and looking to use natural light to highlight things of interest.

Gotta love the Grand Canyon. I also really like your avatar, smiling people in strange far-away places remind me what it is to be human!

Nice shots, eh!

I especially like number 3. Rendering the sky bluer would make them even better. Could do it in post-processing, as you are probably aware.

I looked at your picture and I think it would have been difficult to have any success with all this light in the background. Here is one taken in Nairobi last year, with my camera being on automatic...

Recently I photographed 100 Forner classmates at a reunion. I am not happy with the results of some of the pictures of my black friends If there are some black photographers on this forum, I would really like to hear from them.
How do I take a good picture of a black person? I unfortunately did not have the luxury of changing the backdrop, and I did use a flash on everyone. I did some post processing, but that didn't help much.
We are doing this again in a few years and I want to be ready.
