Glad you like my shots of the butterflies
weather has been very mixed from hot, well hot for us anyway
to very wet and windy like today, drying up a little now but its now prime time and conditions for the midges, really bad at the moment

A disused pier at a small loch near my house, once used to stock fish for the Big House, long overdue a refurb
Adjusted in photoshop to make it look really old

Thanks for the thumbs up

Orange Tip

Great Shot, horizon is straight, nice use of rule of thirds, rider and horse make a good silhouette and most important with this type of image you have gave them space to walk into
well done
PS where is Scotland are you I'm in Dumfries and Galloway
Duncan
Great Images, all nice and sharp, rattle snake you can keep, adders over here are enough for me

With out doubt without the figures

Out of interest what bracketing did you use, I ask as there does not seem to be an awfull lot of detail in the shadow and midtone area, the concrete floor caught my eye in particular, not much detail which with an HDR should have captured
Was the image taken on a bright sunny day ?

I would go for Photomatix Pro, having tried merge to HDR in photoshop photomatix is a clear winner

Hi From Scotland
A Nice black and white shot, this type of subject I think is far better in mono
Very gritty as well, is that on purpose and what sort of ISO did you use

Welcome from South Scotland
Duncan
This shot of the puffin and Razor Bill was taken on a trip to the Farne Islands, Northumberland last year.
The swan was taken in the park in Castle Douglas
Nice Shots
Not to criticise but try later in the day or earlier I suppose, you will get much better colour and definition in your shots, these are the type of shot I used to take allot of in full sun, the other evening I went out into my garden and took some shots when the sun was just about to go over the horizon, ie "the Golden Hour", well wow what a difference it makes
try and see how you get on

This was taken at the once busy halt on the paddy line near Mossdale in South Scotland
Steam trains use to stop here to take on water before carrying on to Stranraer
