I've been acquainted with Steve for several years and his books and ideas are first rate and very easy to understand. Always a must buy and always well worth the $!
Thanks Steve! Once again you have increased my knowledge considerably!
It's a '55 Crown Victoria, with Sunliner roof. Nice.
Hi there Bud! Love Rotts!
Missed seeing your posts Erv. Good to see you're getting better. I also had a couple of strokes last week actually. Getting old is getting old.
Is it capable of doing a custom white balance? I take a shot of something green, (grass) and use it for white balance. The red cast will go away.
I just purchased a Bogen/Manfrotto 3011 with 3130 head for $46.00 shipping included off eBay. It is in great condition and only needs a quick disconnect. ($19.95) I'm just a cheap old retired guy I guess.
Had one just wasn't impressed, returned and got the P900. Had to use dng converter for my software to open nfw files. I'll wait for P1000 $ to reduce.
Tears flowing! Sincere condolences!
Just got one and still learning the ins and outs with all the menus! Not impressed with macro mode yet but getting there. Starting to play with nd and cpl filters and having some focus issues. Seems like a very good all around camera and wish it had raw capability. (Like the just announced P1000)
WHERE you live has nothing to do with it! I live in Oregon that has no sales tax but if I purchase an item and have it shipped to my bro-in-laws place in SC I usually get charged sales tax.
Personally I don't understand people and why they don't P&M about sales taxes in the first place. Why not just add it in the marked price. That way you could buy a $9.99 item with a $10 bill. It sure is nice being able to make purchases and know exactly how much it will cost out of pocket.
