I purchase a Pentax K-3 with the Bayer filters removed. I had been looking at the K-3III mono but decide my bank account couldn't stand the hit. I purchased the K-3 for $500 and have been extremely happy with it. Most of my photos are 95% SOOC. The experience of shooting this camera is akin to PanX film from 30 years ago. Without the Bayer filters, I gain about a stop in light and a lot of sharpness.
Hannah is a joy to photograph and I am disappointed she is moving out of state.

I have the Sigma 70-200 and never regretted the purchase. It is tough, fast, and sharp. If you can get a deal on a Nikon, great, but Sigma is just as good IMHO.
