I had been a Canon user all my life mainly because that's what I started with way back in 1980. A year ago I bought a Sony a6000 and sold all my Canon gear.... no regrets at all!
Sorry all, this was not meant to be "realistic".... only "spooky", which I think I achieved. I lightened up the front of the porch and the roof a little bit in order to show the details.
I will eventually go back and try to make it more "realistic". :D
I have a wedding to shoot in August, so I've been researching and downloading actions. As usual when surfing the web, I got sidetracked, and ended up downloading an action that caught my eye, but definitely not one I'd use on any wedding photos. I just like the effect, and may use it more when fall/Halloween rolls around. And I may even put a "ghost" on the porch :D
This place is a quad's ride away from my house, so I get to visit frequently :) I even took my daughters high school senior pics there. This ski lodge was small but popular way back in it's day, and for being way out in the "middle of nowhere" it did a good business for many years. Then it changed hands... and due to mis-management and poor decisions it was closed. It now sits, rotting away. It's too bad someone couldn't buy it and make some kind of retreat or even destination out of it.
