I spent most of last year in Oncology departments and gave them some framed photos to brighten the place up.
Sorry but I find Oncology and dead pets a difficult subject to make money from but I suppose someone is going to, so I wish you luck. No offence intended.
Love the B&W especially #3
Wow thanks Lynn, it's the sepia one for me. Straight out of Butch Cassidy. I'd put 'grain' on also (the clue is in my name)but that's my own peculiar fixation and not to everyones taste. How do you do the vignette?
I think that there is a crop on the head as well, and done really gritty. I love this photo. I even like the rivets in the background.
Nice shots, I like the vignetting. Can you do the guy with the groovy specs in B&W or Sepia, I think he would look good.
Like the rounders - sorry...baseball...hehe..shot. Nice timing.
Nothing different to say really - fabulous photos.
Technically you could argue that there can be only one absolute best in each lens group. Thus, if you buy anything else you are compromising to 'what is good enough for you'. This now becomes subjective as everyone has different standards or needs. Good enough is good enough, so what if there is better? Just my meanderings.
Sorry to highjack - hey Lazy Old Coot - Was in Gainesville in 1990 at the Gator Nationals. My first visit to the States. Just Hi.
Getting out of bed to take photos - truly above and beyond...
Look forward to seeing them Rob. We were early for once ie morning. I didn't get to see the driver either - must find out more. Are you in Ombersley perchance?
Good idea Tian
Well Archy, you win. I was there last night with my EOS350D - 100 to 400L + 1.4 converter (with the pins taped up so that it will still autofocus) and tripod......but the moon wasn't. Your excellent photo will do for me.
Yes Rob, Droitwich for 21 years then Worcester for 26 years. back in the same house in Droitwich for the last 7.
I'm probably in the way in some of your photos.
This is a very roundabout way to meet is it not?
Thanks Tian I will do that - I would love to see it moving I must say. I seem to have turned into Jeeves - pip pip.
Better than mine - I forgot to go out.
Remember 'f8, and be there'.
Knightmarian you are a revelation. All you hear from people who own cameras that theirs are the best thing since sliced bread. That you have one that is a 'piece of crap' is a breath of fresh air. (how many cliches can I get in this?)
Most cameras are decent these days it's just which one feels best for you within the budget you have - which is what everyone else has already said, so I will shut up now.
That makes sense Rob as I got my meagre info from a quick Google image scan, and the nearest match was indeed a fire engine. Are you local then?
