Great shots Rob, there’s no messing about with you. Always great shots, Models , & true artistic bodies. No so-called artistic license of way out distortion or effects that leave the model unsecognisable as a human.
Always look forward to your posts.

Going the e-mail rounds.

The other day, a young person asked me: - What did it feel like to be old?
I was very surprised by the question, since I did not consider myself old. When he saw my reaction, he was immediately embarrassed, but I explained that it was an interesting question. And after reflection, I concluded that getting old is a gift.
Sometimes I am surprised at the person who lives in my mirror. But I don't worry about those things for long. I wouldn't trade everything I have for a few less gray hairs and a flat stomach. I don't scold myself for not making the bed, or for eating a few extra "little things." I am within my rights to be a little messy, to be extravagant, and to spend hours staring at my flowers.
I have seen some dear friends leave this world, before they had enjoyed the freedom that comes with growing old.
-Who cares if I choose to read or play on the computer until 4 in the morning and then sleep until who knows what time?
I will dance with me to the rhythm of the 50's and 60's. And if later I want to cry for some lost love...I will!
I'll walk down the beach in a swimsuit that stretches over my plump body and dive into the waves letting myself go, despite the pitying looks of the bikini-wearers. They'll get old too, if they're lucky...
It is true that through the years my heart has ached for the loss of a loved one, for the pain of a child, or for seeing a pet die. But it is suffering that gives us strength and makes us grow. An unbroken heart is sterile and will never know the happiness of being imperfect.
I am proud to have lived long enough for my hair to turn gray and to retain the smile of my youth, before the deep furrows appeared on my face.
Now, to answer the question honestly, I can say: -I like being old, because old age makes me wiser, freer!-.
I know I'm not going to live forever, but while I'm here, I'm going to live by my own laws, those of my heart.
I'm not going to regret what wasn't, nor worry about what will be.
The time that remains, I will simply love life as I did until today, the rest I leave to God.

We put a lot f effort into our life where in old age we are wise. But no body asks us anything to prove our wisdom.
I knew I was going to get old, but didn’t realise it would be so soo.

A most beautiful partnership, father & daughter, both very compatible voices. I’m amazed at her ability to change from Melody to harmony parts at such a young age. She has a beautiful voice too. But with a dad like him, what else could one expect. One of my favourite voices.

Beautiful girl, Pink is my fave colour. Tasteful Tatts are ok, but nipple piercings worry me for the future of breast feeding babies later. Navel or clit piercings not very harmful. But whatever floats your boat. She’s a lovely girl.

I guess they also eliminate the flight engineer from the crew. Airbus tried to beat the 747 with the A380 but the A380 was a failure as many airlines now stopped flying them. There is nothing wrong with the A380 just that airlines can't make money with them.

The A380 is a very popular aircraft still. America sees very few of them, because they’re a Boeing country.
I look at Flightradar24, most nights here in Australia, & count the A380s coming to or leaving Aust, & found 12-13 most nights.
When filtering for only A380s, there are hundreds in the global air at almost any time of day. The dear old 747 is reduced to cargo carriers in recent times. But it would be nice to see them up there again, always a handsome craft.

This one is a Lace Monitor.
The lace monitor (Varanus varius), also known as the tree goanna, is a member of the monitor lizard family. A large lizard, it can reach 2 metres (6.6 ft) in total length and 14 kilograms (31 lb) in weight. The lace monitor is considered to be a least-concern species according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
I got this guy in the Adelaide Hills which border Adelaide.

This morning is the first day of the $250,000,000.00 fraud trial in New York City.
Trump would like to let his supporters know that he needs them to send money.
In the end, I truly hope that this trial leaves Trump penniless and that his kids have to leave their condos because Daddy no longer owns the building.
This is going to be a fun time in NYC, watching the Blubber Master sweat off a few pounds.
Let justice prevail!

I wonder if the pots & pans are flying in their kitchen, with Melanie going for more prenup & a stash for the Barons future?? She earned her gold?

Yes, I always transfer them to the computer.

I have an IPhone, for that Kodak moment. I airdrop the pics to my IPad, for a bigger pic. The Apple editing programme in IPad is pretty good for brightening a pic.
The iPad I use for so much during the day, it’s more convenient. I either keep or delete pics if required, but transfer to desktop storeage by usb cable. To keep.
The wonders of technology??
Love em or hate em, Apple is a pretty good system. Airdrop is great.

A few years back, I saw a member by the name of Mullumby, Mike. He posted of my state of Western Australia, & his love of the wide open places, in photography.
I subsequently discovered, he lived in my home town of Geraldton.
I eventually met him personally. Since I had relocated to Perth city, we met only on visits.
I later had advice from his daughter, he had health problems. This brought him to Perth in hospital, where I could visit him more often. In the meantime, he deteriorated as did I with hip & lumber problems. Sadly, he recently passed away, I’m just a bit luckier in that I’m still here, albeit slower but in pain.
Family history & Photography are still my main interests, to keep the mind active.
I’m not sure if this is of interest to all & sundry, but Mike was a keen Hedgehogger so thought I’d mention his demise.

Someone online was driving a relative's car, and the battery went completely dead. He couldn't close the windows or lock the car, so he had to stay with it. He called AAA, and the guy said the battery was beyond help, so he bought a new one. I had never thought about a dead battery preventing the windows to close or the doors to lock.

I carry one of those little ni-cad battery jumpers in my car.

Just think of the EV batteries, chances are, if they decide to spit the dummy, you’ll be cremated in the process.
No new batteries required. Give me the good old Lead/Acid, if they conk out, AAA can sell & fit a new one.
