Clyde Tombaugh discovered Pluto by studying images made from this telescope. It was also used to map the landing area of the Apollo moon mission.
The instrument has just completed a complete bolt by bolt restoration and is in perfect working order. Seeing the Observatory is one of the many reasons to make a trip to Flagstaff, AZ

I didn't have an astronomical mount so I used the sunspots to orient the photos.
Cloudy day at my observing site, not unusual for this location.

I tried the LD aftermarket inks. You have to be sure and change all of the colors at once when you change from Canon Ink. I did not and the colors were wrong.
I just went back to Canon Ink.
Might have been pilot error but I decided not to chance it. If they were exactly the same as Canon Inks, you should be able to replace them one at a time.
