Hi Everyone I am from Oregon and fairly new to photography, I love landscape and clouds These are some of my first photos every and they where taken within the last 3 years I hope you like them and have some good nice advice LOL

:P For beginning very good - remember rule of thirds and the subject of each shot ( crop for it) plan it , then shoot

Thanks Photoman and for the hints as well

Yeah there are a few things I want pretty bad, I would love to get a bigger lense, an external drive and I really want a pen tablet for editing, but have to have heart surgery first...priorities I guess :(

ugg, heart surgery huh? Just looking at your picture there I'd say you had a good heart, guess pictures don't always tell the whole story! Sure wish you the best and look forward to seeing those pictures from your T2i...

My heart races real fast like up to 219 and a little higher I will try to load some tomorrow Have a great night and great day tomorrow

Sure!!!!! Oh not my place to say that here but you are welcome to to post on my topic "hello from Oregon"

Feel free as well.

ok...lol

Not bad. The trees add a little blur to it but if not looked at carefully, one might thing there is more blur than that but it is actuall the moon illuminating the clouds above in the sky. Very neat.

I have one that turned out much better than this one but I must have put it on cd, cleaning up the computer so I have room for the 18 mps pics

WOW, you must have upgraded. 18 mps is a lot more than mine. My largest is my Kodak at 12mp.

Sounds like you need an external hard drive for that extra storage...

Welcome Jody. I am on the Oregon coast and also have a T2i which has been a good camera. Your pictures remind me of the many trips I have taken to eastern Oregon. I think you are really going to like your new camera. Here is a picture I took yesterday with my T2i.
