Thanks, Joe. I didn't have my gloves on at the time, but glad he didn't hide in there. I'm in the habit of checking my gloves/shoes/clothes for unwanted critters.
Thanks for the looks and comments Mike, Longshadow & Curmudgeon. It appears to be an Imperial Moth Cat and not supposed to be stingy according to Google so it must be true. RIGHT!!!
This lil' fella almost made into my glove. My long experience with anything that has prickers, stickers, spiny things, or feathery hairs, the chances are they're going to hurt me. Any ID is well come.
I recently used LegacyBox to convert a mixture of 35 reels of 16mm, 8mm & Super 8. They charge by the reel, ship you a box to pack and pay postage each way. That package was at 50% off and cost just over $700. Everything was returned and was digitized on a thumbdrive. The films were over 70 years old and the quality was acceptable. Unfortunately, it took about 4 months to get done.
I had some old 16mm movies digitized by Legacy Box and now have no use for the reels. If anyone is interested in having the empty metal reels, let me know. Only requesting reimbursement for shipping. Otherwise, everything is going to the landfill.
Thanks Doc and Stan. Now that you mention it Stan, I'm leaning toward ground doves, too. Although, we have had mourning doves visit and raise families for the past couple years.
