I bought the Photo AI bundle about two months ago,, and now find it a regular part of my workflow from
Lightroom. Easy plug-in, you right click on an image anywhere in your workflow and click
"edit in" Topaz AI,, it open quickly ,, scans the image and then lets you decide how much of each process to use
with sliders,, for noise, sharpen, facial recovery,,
I love it so far,,

Greetings Hedgehogs. I know some of you have seen some of my work before, but I wanted to share my experience "working" out at Oshkosh Airventure 2019. As a volunteer each year working with the famous "West Ramp Rats", the group responsible for moving all aircraft in and out of the show area, I am granted access to areas not available to the General Public, as well as CLOSE access to all aircraft being handled by our group.
I was hoping to encourage other photographers to use their considerable talents to "volunteer" for organizations around the word, as it provides some very unique and rewarding experiences.
This first group of shots represents my "up close and personal" access to the starts of the show.

Hi Bob,, I love your work, and have spent quite a bit of time looking at your web site.
I shoot at the Airventure Airshow in Oshkosh Wisconsin every year for one of the volunteer groups out there.
Your shots give me incentive to learn to shoot as well as you someday!!,,

We haven't seen many sun rises here in Minnesota lately. Mostly cloudy days.
When I saw the sun popping up on Sunday, I thought I would try this "Illusion" shot.

Well, you are right about the parking. Because this only happens once per year, I got there at 2:00 PM, for the 4:40 lighting, and got one of the last parking spots in the lower
parking area. By the time it was over, they were parked all the way out on HWY 61 !!
I walked out on the beach south of the lighthouse and staked out a spot so that I would not have anyone in front of me. It turned out to be a good move, as yes, there were 100's
of fellow photographers, and Lighthouse enthusiast out there for the event.
A somber event remembering the 29 lives lost on the Edmund Fitzgerald.
As for the shot.. f/10, iso 800, and Bulb mode. ( I was still able to get AF to work, so that was a plus ) When it was dark enough for the shot, I opened the lens with a remote
shutter release as the light came around facing me, and then I would cover the lens with my hand as the light rotated away. Each rotation takes about 10 or 11 seconds.
I exposed the lens each time the light was facing me for about 3 seconds, and then covered it again. I did this 10 times to get the shot, over the 117 seconds.
Really glad you enjoy the result.

I did a bit of darkening on the houses to the left of the lighthouse, and cropped just a bit off the bottom,,

of the sinking of the Iron Ore ship the Edmund Fitzgerald. (yes,, the same ship from the Gordon Lightfoot song)
I was able to get up there on the 10th with several thousand of my closest friends, lol, to witness the lighting.
This is a 117 sec long exposure. I hope you like it.
