I have carried film in a specially-made lead bag which I purchased from B&H (I think). It's always in my carry-on. Sometimes, if the line wasn't huge, I would ask them to hand inspect. Sometimes they did it anyway and had to test every roll. (Take it out of the boxes.) Each individual scanning won't hurt the film, but the culmination of multiple scannings will - and exposed film as well.
These are truly delightful. I really like the one of people simply relaxing along the canal. I've always wondered how the locals are with the canals. What we usually see are the tourists.
