If you get into S. Carolina you should spend a night in Beaufort, where they filmed Prince of Tides, The Big Chill and parts of The White Squall and Forest Gump. It is a beautiful little town with much to offer. The low country cooking is great. You have to go for the Frogmore Stew. which is delicious.
