I realized the 4GB card in my workhorse camera was getting full. So I transferred 1700 something images onto a stick drive through the computer. I tend to just pick out the images I want and leave the rest on the card. Everything on the card is the same. No problems as far as I can see.
Hello all. A friend has just asked me if I can help to transfer 35mm slides into pictures. Is there an easy way to do this? I remember I had a device on an old scanner that could do something. I just have an 'el -cheapo' flat bed scanner.

Oh no in the middle of printing my Christmas Calendars my Canon Pixma iP 4820 has died. The error message is B200 if that means anything.I have tried unplugging and re-plugging and turning it on and off in the hope the orange light would not flash anymore, but sadly nothing.
If any one has any ideas please let me know.
Also should I be able to afford a new one they all seem to be wireless. My lap top is at least five years old, would I be able to hook up a wireless model.

Hello all. I have just taken a series of pictures for a medical office to put on a website. The pictures are good and portray what they wanted. The staff are happy with their images. The Dr. is concerned that the pictures may get 'hacked' or what ever and used by some-one else. I have had this happen to me before even though I initial my pictures. Of course initials can get stamped over. Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

Hello All, my Canon iP4820 printer suddenly stopped working, fine one day and the next I got an error code, I think B200. I was told to unplug everything and try again, I did many times, nothing. It was still the main printer on my computer Both my computer and printer have served me well for may years. I tried the printer on another computer and got the same reply/code. I have emailed Canon with no response. This has been a great work horse printer and I do not think it is made any more. Any one have any ideas or have one sitting around they are not using and want to sell, but that would mean shipping to Florida.

I know this has cropped up before but I need another external hard drive. I have had Seagate in the past with no problems currently I have a Toshiba. My laptop is about 4 years old so I need to get everything off it. The price difference between and 1 & 2 tb is not much (Amazon) suggestions welcome.

Thank you for the reply. Yes I do use AOL but apps usually ask for Apple ID. AOL always states they will never ask for a password. I feel that you need to very cautious these day.
Hello again, Yes I once again am wondering if any one has used this 'app'. It came up this morning on my phone and I thought I would try it but it wanted my aol password and I am always leery of giving passwords I did not load it.
It is called Mixtiles and it would seem that it produces some sort of adhesive tiles with pictures from your phone. Yes I am thinking early for Christmas, but has anyone heard of it and tried it.

Thank you all for your ideas and useful information. You have given me some insight as to different ways of doing things. I would love to travel to other states but for family reasons I cannot travel far from home. Even if I could I know it would give me more inspiration but would it improve my quality of work? Yes we have to find our own ways to get inspired but I now have some new avenues to research and travel.

Hello All, I am in a photographic rut. Living in East Central Florida at this time of the year the weather is cooler and light can be good but apart from the ocean and wetlands it is not very photogenic. I have a problem that for various reasons I cannot travel far from home although I don't know where close to me it would be much different. We have been here for about 35 years so I know the area well.
