Nicely done! Very interesting series. Would like to see more, as I’ll probably never get to travel Route 66!

Thanks Steve, you can see the entire series at www.RichsPics/gallery. It's the last gallery on the page. Enjoy!

This shot could be considered a advertising shot. I would have had the models wearing clothes which are contrasting to the Mc Donalds sign. The little boy does not need to be in the photo, his shirt causes him to be lost in the red area of the sign. The woman's hand should be on the same plane as the rest of her body. The hand being forward distorts the hand, and focus. To show "happy" you need to consider facial expressions, hand location, and body language. The flags, and high palm tree are completely unnecessary, as the large sky view. Keep the objective of the shot in mind, happy people, leaving or arriving at a "happy Place"

I've completely redone the composition based on the comments, but I have no opportunity to reshoot it, so the attached is as good as it's going to get I'm afraid. Thanks for your critique.

I'€™d love some CC on this image. I'€™m taking an advanced college course on color and light and I shot this photograph to fulfill an assignment called the Psychology of Color. Hopefully the image speaks for itself, but the idea was to capture the red and yellow of the McDonald's logo and associate it with happy folk. What do you all think?

Well, surprise surprise. I guess I got my answer about the worthiness of this image. I just learned today the “To the Victor...” has been juried by the Ventura County Art Council into the upcoming “Still at War/Chaos and Order” Exhibit to be displayed in the Ventura County Government Center Atrium Gallery. That’s pretty cool, and a first for me!

The picture is fine, the blur implies action, so it is a very good capture.

Oh leave them there, they add to the drama and make us wonder what happened to the third bird. I agree with Katydid the blur adds to the action and the quality of the shot,

Funny! Thanks for your comment. I've already removed them. Posting a revision momentarily.
