When I lived near Phoenixville and worked near Devon/Wayne, I drove past the arch on average, 10 times a week for several years. I still drive through the park quite often. Valley Forge National Historical Park is a great place for photography, if you get to know the place, on both sides of the river. I enjoyed your photos.

Thank you.

Looking at the MSN weather report on my computer, it looks like temperatures will be in the upper 80s for the rest of the week. That's what they are showing for Woodstock, NY - just a few miles from me. On the Toolbar at the bottom of the screen, it always shows temperatures in the 80s.

Now it says it will be in the 30s and 40s. Boy, talk about fast-changing weather!

Now it's back to the 80s. Reliable? Maybe not.

A few weeks ago "before I turned it off" the weather service in Kodi would tell me it was 90 degrees, then 32 degrees then 120 degrees usually in the same day. I didn't know how to dress.

Hi everyone I am a Mac person but my wife has a pc. It is the slowest laptop in the world. Every time I try to help her with it I get frustrated. Can you recommend a pc with the fastest chip, maybe 8 gigs of ram and a terabyte of storage space because this is killing me. It takes 3 hours just to do an iTunes back up. Smh.

If you are using less than 8 gbs of ram then there is your problem and 8gigs won't cut it nowadays, I would go to 32 and 16 would be my minimum.

Another of the model (her name is Daisy, don't think I ever mentioned that). Just playing around with a fan, a wonderful model and a bit of Photoshop.

Nice job, the only thing I would have done differently is to add a hair light to separate her hair from the background.

I don't usually watch movies twice, but I might be going for a third time with this one - "Father Christmas is Back," on Netflix. It has a great cast with lots of familiar English actors (and Kelsey Grammer). I found it very funny.

I was bored and found this last weekend and yes it was funny.

Doesn't sound like she would ever find the lipstick.

Amoreena in glorious monochrome. Note the lighting: it’s something like 6 or 8 speed lights on the background aimed through different sized cardboard tubes from paper towels and the like. The subject lighting is pretty standard in nature. I think the two methods turn out a resulting photo that is eye catching.

I’ve shown it in full frame and in crop because I like it both ways. I like the full rendition because it shows the lighting that took about an hour to set up and shoot, I like the crop because it shows the detail that may be overlooked in the full frame treatment.

Thoughts?

It looks good, the only thing I find issue with is that there appears to be some kind of skin smoothing done to the image which makes the skin look unnatural.

This is not a photographic question although I do run Photoshop on this PC. The PC is an HP Prodesk 400 G1 MT. It's a 3rd gen I5. The computer came with Win 7 pro and free upgrade to Win 8.1 pro. I have since upgraded it to Win 10 Pro. Now it's dead, I think it's the motherboard. So I ordered an identical PC from Ebay. If I take the hard drive out of the bad computer and put it in the one that is coming I am sure it would start up but would Win 10 activated? I worry that Win10 won't be activated.

If you are adding the old drive as a secondary drive you will be fine, if you intend to use the old drive as the boot drive it may not boot since Windows will see a massive hardware change or it may boot and not authenticate which means you may need to call MS for a new code.
