Loved all of the entries -- but I'll have to go with #5
Hi, everyone. I thought I'd try something a little different this week. We seldom get to work on a portrait, so here's one I took a few years back that needs some work
Feel free to download this image to your computer. Then you can edit it any way that you think is an improvement. Composites, black and white conversions, textures, sky swaps, inverted images, solarization, or whatever else you think will improve the photo are acceptable techniques for your edit. When you are finished, post your edit in this thread. Edits will be accepted until 9pm Eastern time on Thursday. No edits will be accepted after that time because we will begin voting then. Thank you for your efforts and your participation.

Thinking of doing more black and white and wonder if I should set my camera to shoot that style or just make the change in my photo editing program. Any suggestions?
If you're really serious about b&w, you might want to consider something like the Leica M10 Monochrom, which uses a 40MP mono-only sensor. Documented advantages include eliminating the need to demosaic, resulting in a final image that's inherently sharper than a color image, saturated or no. Also, color filters used on most sensors absorb around 1EV of the light, resulting in a base ISO rated one stop higher than a chip with a color filter array would be.
I've been using the original EM-5 for many years now and will only part with it when it parts with me. I shoot from a lot of weird angles and much of the time one-handed, and this camera is the perfect mix of function, size, and image quality. It's like an iPhone that takes a really good picture and doesn't bug me with a load of spam.
