Great image...if I were going to change...I would play around with cropping to get closer to the boat and eliminate a bit of water from the bottom and clouds from the right. A definite keeper.

There ia an owl who has set up house very close to my bedroom window that likes to hoot about 3AM. This, in turn, starts the coyotes howling. I have lost a lot of sleep of late and have spent time trying to hunt this feathered alarm clock down with my camera, to no avail. I commend you for your beautiful captures and hope to one day get as lucky.

While your goats are doing porn, I came across these guys on a bike path last fall. The state of CO hires this team to eat the noxious weeds around river banks that cannot be cleaned up by humans because of the pitch of the slope. They stay in one spot for a week to ten days, then are moved to their next job. Eating for a living... nice work if you can get it. Photos were done on my phone....so not great. 🐐🙂

Sad to hear about Ramar...on the lighter side, funniest Zoo story I ever heard happened to my mother’s friend who was paged on the loud speakers about her car at Brookfield one afternoon. Apparently, when giving the elephants a daily walk, one decided to take a rest and sat down on her car. The Zoo apologized and said their insurance would cover it and since the car was driveable, she got on the highway to head home. There was a huge 20 car pileup on the road, but she managed to get around it and continue on. Of course, she was soon pulled over by the police for leaving the scene of an accident. She said “You aren’t going to believe this officer, I wasn’t in that accident, an elephant sat on my car!” And he replied “You’re right lady, I don’t believe you.” And he took her into the station!
I think this happened in the early 60’s.
