Not much to shoot except for this Osprey on our outing up the canyon today.
Great action shots. My favorite is the extended talon shot.

You can tell by the two black dots on the lower wings which are his scent glands.
😃
Love the monarchs. Your information about the black dots sent me all over the net looking for more info. thank you I have learned something new and it made my day

Beautiful area.
Yes it is. It seems that the owner created this gem in his back yard (54 acer preserve) out of an old quarry. More information may be found at the following link.

Bury is right it is a Butterfly Pea (Centrosema virginianum) and the variety is known as "Pea Brain." Seriously! Great set of this beautiful flower.

Well done. I bet you are glad to have your camera back.
my backup camera the d7200 is a great camera but I do love my D750
Found a nearby place to walk and take pictures. Cedar Woods Lakes and Gardens Botanical Preserve located next to Devils Den Spring off of ALT 27 just north of Williston Fl. Has great promise for walking and taking pictures.
I invested in an annual ticket to enjoy the changes over the next year. Hope you enjoy.
Just got my D750 back with new shutter and tuneup (Thanks Nikon). Walk along the dunnellon trail on an overcast and rainy day. Interesting flowers found would like ID if anyone recognizes them.
[quote=jerryc41]I just took my D750 out for a shoot after getting it returned from the Nikon recall a few days ago. I didn't bother to reset everything to my "likes," and it was funny having to focus with the shutter button, rather than BBF. I don't like that at all. I'll reset everything back to the way I like it. I knew it had been totally reset, but I didn't want to take the time to go through everything. Maybe I'll save the settings to an SD card, although that makes it automatic. I like going through the Menu and making decisions again.
I just got mine back also. First outing was all about getting things back to the way they were. I know there are several posts here that give warning but having to go thru all the setups again helps the learning process for me. Next time I send in for regular service maybe I should figure out how to save settings to SD card.
