Nice portrait and the head position really adds to the shot. If it were mine, I would crop from the left, probably closer to a square frame. Nice shot.

Thank you Nalu !

You focused on his eyes, and waited until his beak was at an angle, so it wasn't distorted. Very good.

House sparrows are often considered a nuisance because they seem to be ever present everywhere. However, they are not found in the wilds away from human habitation. They have a preference to nesting in man made structures in cities and suburbs. These particular sparrows are nesting at my neighbors. The young sparrows appear to shiver and droop their wings like in the 4th image above when they anticipate being fed. I hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.

Love them!

The Stellar's Jay's were allover flying in squadrons or alone.

The Cowbird, I think, was a shot taken in bright sunlight-not a great shot but I am hoping for an ID.

The last shot shows a Stellar's Jay Jumping off while looking at me. I only cropped from the upper Lefthand corner. From the sign edge on was what I left! Lucky shot!

Download and enjoy!

These shots were taken from my back deck during the month of May. The birds are mostly white, at least from the underside. Enjoy.
