Great pic! Î know it quite well. My daughter got married at the hotel you can see onthe RHS in the mid distance and lives in the area (although coming back to NZ with her family next year for a while). They do great meals there too. It was snowing there as few days ago.city it is about 30 hours flying away.
BTW if you are going to that area from abroad try flying into Inverness. Last time we went through Amsterdam and into Inverness. Lovely friendly Customs etc officials.

Looks familiar but just can't place it. - I am a Kiwi and used to live in the S.I
I have a Zip with me all the time. Have COPD and need to do walking everyday for exercise and it's good to know roughly what your average is. Had no probs over 18 months. Use el cheapo batteries - a card of 10 from the $2 shop. Not quite the same number - 2025 rather than the required 2035 but the only dif in size is v small and they last 2 to 3 months at least
Boohoo- have owned a few Holdens and currently have one. Never owned a Falcon but did have a British mk3 Ford Zodiac - had the sports gear and was a goer in it's day
I enjoy strumming along on a uke as well. Go the the uke group at the pub every Tues night. I am pretty bad on it but it is fun. Hoping to build a tenor from scratch over the next few months. Another MenzShed project
I have an old canon ixus60 6mp which goes everywhere with me. Great little camera to have in my pocket although it is getting long in the tooth now.
Just got back from Rome, Scotland and Amsterdam and took a DSLR with two lenses and also a tiny old canon Ixus60. I am 73 and always carry a camera with me. My phone camera is pretty crappy.
When moving around used the ixus as it fits in my shirt pocket. Just checked, that little camera has now done over 30000 shots and still lives. Good enough for screen viewing and small prints although I have done 10 x 12s from it. Have been eyeing one of the pocket sized lumixes recently for travelling with but need to save up a bit.
The Ixus did 60% of the photos on the trip to grandsons 3rd birthday.
Cool! The p900 seems to deliver the goods - as does the guy driving it
Minox and also a couple of 16mm 'spy' type slide to advance film types. Got 10 x 8 prints off them - if I was very careful
Had a minox for a while, also a couple of Minolta 16mm ones. Got a roll of prof movie film and loaded my own cartridges. They were great fun and a talking point. If I was careful I could get a 10 x 8 from them
66% and I remember the old l.s.d (pounds, shillings and pence, not the other!)
Good to see those old Pentax lenses in use again. I have a Takumar 105mm lens which I used on an older Pentax es. Was a fantastic lens and I still use it sometimes on my canon digital with a 42mm screw adapter. So that makes it just short of 160mm equivalent on my C sensor.
