Each year the Shoshone-Bannock tribe hosts a pow-wow/festival at the Fort Hall Reservation. Tribes from the US and Canada attend and participate in a variety of contests and activities. The tribe graciously allows non indians to view much of the festival. It is a wonderful photographic opportunity. If any of you hoggers are planning a vacation that will take you to Idaho (between Pocatello and Blackfoot) sometime from Aug. 8th - 11th., I would highly recommend attendance. The grand entry and the dancing competition are especially photogenic. Check out their website as the time gets closer for exact times. I have posted a few of the many hundreds of photos that I have taken over the years.
